We needed our driveway entrance widened. Sounds straight forward enough but it involved removing an existing 2m high pillar and 1.6m of 2m high wall. The wall and pillar were both rendered and built from brick on a base of cobble stone. Furthermore an open brook ran alongside the wall and this was adjacent to the highway. There was also an old concrete bridge over the brook into our drive and this also had to be removed and a new and much stronger one installed. In addition the old concrete bricks on top of the remaining wall were replaced with copping stones more fitting with the conservation area in which we live.In addition some plaques on the inside of the wall needed to be removed and relocated due to the reduction in the length of the wall. We had concerns that these plaques might not withstand the relocation but they were carefully and expertly handled by H and Trev.The Urban Earth quotation was detailed and very competitive. Phil was also very flexible and understanding in our initial concerns regarding the proximity of the open brook and the highway to the area where the work was to be carried out.The Urban Earth team was H and Trev and they were professional, clearly very skilled, polite, arrived when they said they would and kept the site tidy and organised. There were a few matters that arose during the project but they consulted us when there were any decisions to be made. The end result is a widened entrance, a significantly improved bridge across the brook and a much improved appearance overall. We received many compliments regarding the quality of the work that was carried out, both during the works and when the project was completed.I would happily recommend Urban Earth and would use them again for any other projects that we have.

I didn't think a company as big as Urban Earth would be right for a smallish job like ours - approx 40m square of patio, which already had the majority of foundation/hardcore work done by us. However, Phil was happy to come and quote for us and the price was reasonable enough for us to give them the job as I knew they had a good reputation and I wanted a quality result.I was glad we did. They fitted us in around a month later, came on the date agreed, completed on time and to their quote, not a penny more.Our two-man team were polite, professional, arrived when they said they would and kept the site tidy and organised. They consulted us when there were any decisions to be made about edging or particular slab placements. The end result is a great outdoor space that drains well, looks great and I am confident will stand the test of time.

Having seen Urban Earth’s work on our neighbours home, we contacted them to carry out a small project to create a driveway and path at the front of our house. Their communication was good and the team’s work was excellent and professional with great attention to detail. They brought the plan we had to life and the finished article was better than we could have hoped for. It was a joy to have them working on our project. Would definitely recommend.

The team and Urban Earth were amazing, we got them in to replace the drive and several planter areas at the front of our property, they had all the equipment needed, arrived on time every day, were clean and tidy and did the job to perfection and in no time at all. Would recommend them anytime, in fact I have already asked them back.

We’re over the moon with our new driveway and the guys have done an absolutely outstanding job. The new wall is precisely in keeping with the existing one and looks a treat – James is clearly a skilled craftsman. He’s also made an excellent job of building a step into the path at the side. And you’re right – Dave works likes a beast and literally never stops moving! Both the guys were excellent throughout actually – friendly, helpful and considerate and they always tidied up at the end of each day and across the weekends so the work had minimal impact on us (no that there was much tidying to so as they were tidy workers anyway). And the driveway looks superb – exactly the look we were after - so thank you for the Marshalls Tegula recommendation – it’s just the job. We’ve already had several people comment as they’re walking past about what an excellent job your guys have made of it so it’s a great advert for the quality of your work in Yettington! Very happy with Urban Earth in every aspect of their service. We had them design and plant a new garden for a new build, including borders and wildflower meadow patches. Martin the designer was extremely considerate of our brief and created a design that would be low maintenance and wildlife friendly. They also returned to replace the turf originally laid by the developer and install steel lawn edging. Everything was done with precision and care and we couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend.

We contacted a few companies to quote to carry out work to landscape our garden and to lay out patio area. Out of all the companies we asked to quote, Urban Earth were the most thorough in their survey. They came up with a clear plan of action which we liked and we placed our order.Their team started work quickly. We were impressed with their professional approach and how courteous they were towards us. It wasn’t the biggest or most exciting job for Urban Earth, however it was for us!! The team did brilliantly and we were very impressed, we love the new patios and it is a delight to have a driveway that we can actually turn around in!
