This little place must have a tardis for a cellar! They don't just serve a big range of beers from around the country and around the world, the staff really know about the beers and will make suggestions based on what you already know you like. I hadn't expected to find a choice of coffee porters, but it turns out that's just the sort of place it is. Clientele is mostly older and inclined to wear beards and hats.

Small intimate bar with a dazzling array of beers. The bar staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Fun, funky decor and a great vibe, so far my favourite bar in Hull

Very cosy little bar. Not somewhere I would recommend unless you're looking to try something new or different. They sell a large range of craft, and foreign beers, most above £5. I paid £8 for a can of mango beer, which was beautiful, but took me a bit by surprise when two came to £16I would highly recommend, but don't go in hoping for a Carling.

Nice place with free wifi. Good bottle selection. 3 or 4 taps. Not cheap at about 3 Quid a half pint.

Amazing craft and euro beer selection on draught and in bottles. Great music. Fantastic atmosphere and decoration.

The guys running it are always really friendly and it has a great selection of beer. It's not cheap but nothing worth having ever is. The cosy little atmosphere of the place is a winner too, especially in these winter months.

Fantastic choice of beers, tiny bar with people sat at it. Maybe we just hit it on a bad day. Unless you I've beforehand what they were carrying in stock it was what you could see at eye level. Make a trip up to The People's Republic" on newland ave"
