Nicole Hird is a fabulous hairdresser. She listens intently to what you want, her advice is always spot-on and her hairdressing technique is very skillful. I would say that she is an intuitive hairdresser: she knows what will suit you as an individual. Sessions with Nicole are enjoyable - she is easy-going and cheerful. You can relax because you know that you're in good hands. I would recommend Nicole to anyone - young, old, any sex - she tunes into you, as a person. And of course, she's so beautifully stylish herself, it gives you confidence - this girl knows what she's about.

Just had my extensions refitted at the Perth Rd shop, Sam who did my hair was so friendly and knowledgeable. Really nice atmosphere & service was outstanding. I’ve been to the Union St shop several times and had my hair done by Carla with a similarly good experience. Best place I’ve used in Dundee for sure. Well done McIntyres Dundee!!!

Moved here just over a year ago and after researching for a while I chose McIntyres and I love them! I have curly hair so them knowing how to best frame them is a godsend. Loved working with Nicole to figure out the best style and colours for me!

I recommend stylist Nicole as she provides excellent service with advice on the best idea based on your hair type and condition to give you the best results, also provides great knowledge on which products are best to use to maintain your hair after treatment.

I love McIntyres, I've been going to Nicole for 10 months now, for cuts, restyling and dyeing. She is lovely to speak to and always knows what to do with my hair and she makes an awesome job of it. 10/10 recommend! They have lovely drinks as well, I love the vibe in the salon.

Booked an appointment with Freya at Perth Road Salon for a balyage. My hair is really quite dark and I was looking to add lots of blonde and some honey tones. Freya gave lots of thought to how best achieve my wishes and I am over the moon with the result. My hair is a gorgeous colour and the shine is amazing. I did receive a treatment for extra strength and shine and I’m so glad I did. Freya is lovely and really listened to what I wanted to achieve. She explained the process in detail and made sure I was happy at each stage. The chat was great too. It was so nice to have a few laughs whilst relaxing for a little while. Salon was lovely and warm on such a dismal day. Music was good and not too loud and the coffee and chocolates were greatThanks again Freya- you were fab ❤️❤️

Fantastic hair colour and hair cut from Rebecca! Having moved up here from London I spent a while looking for a good hair stylist to maintain my natural hair colour (dark ash blonde) yet give it a bit of life whilst concealing the greys. Rebecca really listened and was very helpful and knowledgeable. My hair really looks and feels great weeks after the visit. Looking forward to combing back again!

Nicole has been my hairdresser for nearly a year now. Aside from being an amazing person, she is definitely a very skilled hairdresser. She always listens to my hair concerns and tries to execute my wishes as realistically as possible. The best cut and blow dry i ever had. My hair has never felt better!

I've went to Nic for 5 years for my hair and I can hands down say I've never had a more understanding, friendly and overall amazing person do my hair. She never misses on an assignment and has been the only person I've let have free reign on my hair to colour it how she liked and it always turned out absolutely stellar. The times where I've come in with an idea of how I'd like my hair cut and coloured she's always honest about what's realistically possible and I've massively appreciated that, it's one of my favourite qualities about her. She's always offered such amazing advice on what my hair needs and I'm forever grateful.
