Flitz Salon

Booked via Groupon and called to make an appointment. They appeared to be fully booked when asked for Thursday so decided to leave work early on the Wednesday. Appointment booked for 5.30pm. During the day of the appointment I got a call to say it had been cancelled. OK disappointed but these things happen. However while discussing a new appointment a Thursday slot was found? strange there was no slots previously? Anyway no worries drove for a good 1/2 hour to get there and when I arrived .After calling the salon to apologise for being a bit late when nothing was said about my appointment there was no stylist there, they had all gone home?? Not sure if my call was taken in the salon but there was no mention that there was no one there to do my hair? Well you can imagine how peed off I was. I left work at 6pm and got home @7.30pm what a complete waste of time & fuel. I expected a call the next day nothing so eventually I called them. The lady that took my call was apologetic and she said she would book me in again, I said I wasn't happy to do that, I had never known such unprofessional behaviour and that I was going to complain to Groupon & get a refund. To which she replied ' no don't do that I will speak to my colleague and see what they could do' to make amends I presume. 3 days later no return call, cancelled the Groupon and put in a complaint to Groupon. Do not go to this salon they do not deserve the custom.

The most terrible experience ever and I will never visit this salon again.The whole experience lacked professionalism from start to finish . I was looking forward to treating myself with a new hairdo :(I bought a groupon vowcher online, ,costing £25 (haircut and half headed highlights). As soon as I arrived to my appointment I was told to pay an additional ten pound because I wanted purple dye and this required me to bleach my hair. My hairstylist decided to put a toner rather than a permanent purple dye because I would achieve my desired colour.she was brilliant at pursuading me to apply cheap, horrendous products on my hair. Little did I know, after one wash the colour would completely disappear.My highlights transformed from purple to blonde bleach overnight.I was told a number of times, after 20 washes the colour would slowly fade, but no it took one wash! She advised me to apply Johnson baby shampoo on my hair to prevent the colour from stripping. After researching myself, baby shampoo is the worst product to use and strips away the colour faster due to the ph levels. I forgot to mention that, my stylish drenched my entire top whilst washing away the dye and applied dye at the back of my infected ear without informing me and burnt the skin ( during my patch test) I am absolutely gob smacked with the standard of the hairstylist at this salon and writing this review to warn customers to stay away..it is not worth the time and money.

Absolute bunch of idiots!! Rubbish service, rude arrogant people, highly unprofessional, especially the woman called Kam !!

I wouldn't even give flitz one star. The owner of the salon is incredibly rude. I had laser here and it did not work at all, in fact it made my hair growth even worse where I was getting hairs where I've never had them before. When I tried to explain this to her, her solution was for me to go elsewhere and not come back. This resulted in me not even having my treatment because she was that disrespectful. I've never experienced such poor customer service before and I recommend people not to go here, as it is also daylight robbery. What happened to the customer always being right? She obviously doesn't care.

Left outside waiting 40 minutes, no courtesy. Call to say they were running late, called them and the people I spoke to weren't even in the salon! Absolutley disgusting service. Should have listened to the other reviews. I left as I refuse to give my money to such an unprofessional company.

I purchased a groupon then phoned to make an appointment I asked was there any restrictions Teigan said yes Monday to Friday with I think Natalie I asked for Monday but then the phone went off so I called back to be told they don't open Monday I asked for Tuesday they were fully nooked I asked for Wednesday the girl who does groupns is on holiday but the girl was then going to find out if they could fit me in and call me back no call back the next day still waiting. Steer clear unprofessional

First time I tried this place, Turned up on time and was made to wait 45 mins!..worst hair cut I’ve had, asked for long layers and a trim, ended up with a chop with no layers what so ever, had to ask again to layer front, asked for a volume blow dry, my hair was flat as a pancake with frizz bits at the front, had to ask again to blow dry and get the fizz out.so a haircut and blow dry took all in 2hrs!! Ridiculous!

Mary Wilson is an amazing lady who I have known for 30 years.She is excellent at her job and would definitely recommend her.

Usually have a few little issues but nothing too major but after having called 3 weeks in advance for an appointment, explained fully what I wanted done and called a further two times to confirm.. I showed up this morning to be told I was only booked in for a short appointment and they wouldn't be able to do anything that I wanted so I had to leave and come back another time (that they don't have available for 2 months!!!).. Mildly frustrated after wasting time calling and booking as well as driving down from Liverpool to make it.. I would suggest confirming your appointments to double check.. But I did that.. So I'm not sure whether I would trust them again not to waste my time

Been a few times. Staff can be moody some days but the girl that does my hair is nice however, took my friend there after i had a quote for £45 over the phone. She was then told to expect it to be more than £65 as her hair is thick even though i told them that before 1st quote. Also annoyed me as they do not stick to a price list they asked what we were quoted and usually quote higher than originally quoted.
