Want some boat insurance this is a company worth considering, competitive quotes and very good cover. Very helpful staff and claims well I had to have one noty fault they dealt very professionally with it. So would I recommend certainly I would and special rates if you own a Westerly.

Looks for loopholes to avoid paying. My company lost over £40,000 on a claim denied, which was later investigated by the underwriter . Slow response. Should have paid more

So far our dealings have been very good since an accident we had with our boat. Very quick an efficient to get the other boat involved on it's way. Would definitely be using them again.

tried to get a quotation for insurance today was left holding on for 20 minutes only to be told once I got through to Jake that there was nobody to deal with my request and that they were working on a 2 to 3 day turnaround for quotes. Is this really what a company of this size thinks is good customer service!! Well I don't and they wont be getting my business. NOT A GOOD REVIEW IN TODAYS COMPETATIVE MARKET PLACE

I've only had two claims in over 30 years and 50,000 miles of sailing. The first was when someone ran into me while I was in my marina berth. At the time I was insured with a well-known company who argued over every penny (even though they were not the ones paying!). On that occasion, the other boat was insured with N&G, and they paid up promptly and in full with no argument. So I moved to N&G (whose premium was just over half what I had been paying previously!). Then, last year I hit an unmarked rock (at a depth of about 18 in the centre of the marked channel) in the Canal du Midi. N&G were brilliant
