Fantastic four days spent at Field View. The owners have made the 300 year old cottage really cosy and warm.Bradwell is a typical Dale village. Stone houses, narrow roads and little in the way of shops. Just as you'd expect!The co-op is a five minute walk, and the local chippy two minutes further (avoid it though as the chips are not very good and anaemic on colour!)Castleton is a ten minute drive away, and Eyam around 20 minutes.Great location, great cottage, and great facilities.One tip.....don't bring a large car to the cottage. You will struggle to park safely. The locals all have their own spaces on the road (some marked by cones), but you don't come away to a cottage like this to worry about trivialities such as parking.
