Just saw the police stopping bikes and fine them for apparently jumping a red light in a situation of no danger at all. It was just a trap for the bikes and make to cach them and make money. With all the problems in Tower Hamlets...! People getting drunk on the street, injecting drugs, stealing...and you decide to find the hardworking people on their way back home. I guess someone has to pay for so many people on benefits...!

Can not believe I’m walking around my home town with all Palestinian flags about! Who has allowed this?! Tower hamlets council obviously! We get one day to celebrate our British soldiers one day a year and now seems like a war! What a disgrace!

Absolutely horrible experience, rude and unprofessional stuff! We have been charged the same bill three times, called them, they say only by email which they never reply, you call again wait a freaking hour in their line, and again, send us email we cannot do it on phone, you send, no one replies for 3 weeks. So basically they took about extra 800 and then no one there helps - is it like I have to go to court or what? Such services disempower people, especially minorities with leaving them in these humiliating hell circles and this led to more and more unequal society with discrimination and racism

The people that work at Tower Hamlets council should be ashamed of themselves. They are lying and not aware of regulations. They fail to act when it is their duty. A total disgrace!

Got a parking penalty and I have no arguements with it, I deserved it. However.... I wrote to the council asking for the details (because I lost the paper) in order to pay. I recieved nothing... other than the letter telling me my charge has doubled because I have not paid the earlier fee. SHAME ON YOU TOWER HAMLETS COUNCIL. I feel this was done on purpose to double the money

The streets of Tower Hamlets are such a disgrace. It is actually embarrassing to be living in Brick Lane area and to see bags and bags of trash piled up, all along the whole of Brick Lane. This is why London has a rodent problem and the number of foxes in the area is growing. It’s unacceptable to allow Sunday Market to continue and then leave the trash on the streets for days on end after. The people who set up stalls on Sunday Market, have a duty and responsibly to clean up after themselves. They should be fined for leaving trash like this especially when it’s open bags of food. The council has a duty to increase bin collections in public areas. I just walked through Brick Lane and the amount of trash on the streets, made my skin crawl. Brick Lane attracts tourists and people from all over and this is what they come to see?!! It’s dirty and filthy streets that smell of bin juice and urine. Get Tower Hamlets cleaned up please!! We need to improve this area for all who live here and it’s starts with hygiene, cleaner streets, dealing with rodents and the foxes that are running wild in our gardens. Just look at the pictures. Are you as a council proud that Tower Hamlets looks like this?!!

The absolute worst. They don’t care if your roof collapse. If there’s mold. If the window doesn’t close. They just don’t care. But you must pay them.It should be a shame for anybody working there.Hope they will be sued. They must be convicted. This is now getting dangerous for residents lives.

They do not care about mental or physical health needs of people within the community. Apathetic, unprofessional and lazy staff. It makes me angry that most of these reviews are really bad and the worst part is there is the highest chance in heaven that they are true. I was born and raised in this borough, volunteered my time to give back to the community over the years. I have never expected to be handed everything and we’ll aware of the housing crisis, all I ever asked was for them to help me find a property that is properly licensed and approved by the council within the private rented sector. I am now very ill due to the stress of living in the unlicensed HMO I’ve been residing in. I cannot work anymore and I can’t do things on my own. If the council had helped earlier, I would not be in this position and still be able to work, now they will tell me I should just move somewhere cheaper so I can be out of their way. I will not allow this. One of the workers had the nerve to tell me not to let this get to me mentally, like I haven’t lost everything. Another worker who was actually my caseworker a couple of years back asked me not to bother him again when I asked for help. To top it off, I’ve been paying rent to people that illegally tossed my belongings outside and forced me to change the locks. (because I reported them and refused to leave without an valid notice) I had to pay £200 out of my own pocket and I’m still paying rent. The landlord and agents occupying the property are criminals and the council are well aware of this. Who do you think advised me to cripple myself financially like this? TOWER HAMLETS COUNCIL. They do not show authority but have the audacity to call themselves one. The mayor of this borough should be hanging his head in shame, no integrity and no dignity. I hope everyone had their chance to get justice for themselves because this is beyond deplorable. I will be pursuing this and making sure everyone knows how corrupt things have become. I hope they read these reviews, every single one of them. I want them to question their moral compass if they have any. Maybe others will eventually move on and let them get away with this, but I will not. When you have lost everything with barely anything left to lose, you have all the time in the world.

Cambridge Heath Road looks like the worst slum I have seen in my life. I went to the Cambridge Heath Road post office and the litter in the floor was almost invading the entrance of the post office. I also have seen the children going to St Elizabeth Roman Catholic and Mowlem Primary Schools passing by all of the rubbish in the Bishops Way floor. The quality of the street care and cleaning is ridiculously lower than ever.I know the frontline waste service workers are in strike but the council should find a solution for this, residents cannot be left with all of this dirtiness, council should pay one off for a bin/waste collection during the strikes, at least around critical areas such as Bethnal Green tube station and areas I mentioned above.I pay my council tax but do not see the service delivered accordingly. What happens if I stop paying my council tax? so the council can stop proving a service and it is ok? Tower Hamlets high local authority workers may not even live in the borough, otherwise they would care more and have a little empathy and consideration for Tower Hamlets residents. This is disrespectful.

Terrible place east lomdon Is full of drug addicts gamblers and drunks they create more betting shops than food stores and there is homelessness everywhere. They are working with the devil to cause depression and suicide to population control.
