Aztec Spa

I am very disappointed with the parking situation, I just paid £100 on the ticket I got in the disability car park with my blue badge on. Because we only went to swimming and that isn't count as being a guest. But even if I naturally would pay , the machine wasn't work when we walking passed, but because I wasn't aware I didn't take a picture as I got my blue badge on so thought it isn't affecting me at all. But if the people in the swimming pool inform me when we bought the ticket for the pool, that I have to pay the car park if I am not Hotel guest even if I am disabled then I would pay without hesitation. But I wasn't aware! So not going back because I can't afford this nonsense again! But definitely I learned my lesson!

Great pools for the all although you do have to watch your children as all the life guards spend there time chatting and not doing their job. Reported to the manager on 2 occasions only to not be actioned or get a response when details left. The manager did mentioned that the life guards hide from the cctv cameras while they natter. The chlorine is way too strong.

Used to be a nice little gem, however the Pools today we're aboustely freezing, even the warm" pool! Couldn't stay in them for long! Lifeguards were just busy chatting and not even paying attention to swimmers etc

The Fire and Ice experience was not great. The reception staff at the spa on the day were awful. Not bothered, not helpful and just rude. Be warned of the parking situation. Because I have just received a parking fine when I did ask all the staff on the day what the requirements were for this. I have given it 3 stars, only because there was 3 stars (people) who work there. Magda who was the therapist, she was amazing and extremely professional and kind. Sara who dealt with my booking, again extremely professional and hard working and Kitty who dealt with my every detail when I called and knew exactly what she was doing and is extremely personable. I even told her to get job where she would shine through like she does. I think if I had had all three of these very professional workers, working at the spa when we where there we would have had a fantastic time. After spending nearly £300 I am extremely disappointed with how the day went and then to come home and receive a £60 parking fine! Our lunch confirmation was also not easy for the staff to find either. All in all a very disappointing experience. Very sad because the potential is there to be a really lovely place. Myself and other people where going to use this facility regularly, however this is not to be.

A little bit dated in some areas, shower was amazing though. Not very relaxing in the spa as lots of young guys doing bombs in the pool - should be at a pool really if this is what they want to do

Fantastic experience. Tish and Sara were amazing, went out of their way for me. They were so friendly and kind. It's so good for Autistic people because they really look after you. Hot tub was great, massage was one of the best I've ever had. It was a clean resort and a really great experience.. thank you. One thing I would say is the pools are pretty cold, 18 and 19 degrees because of the energy prices. And with the climate crisis we can't afford to use more fossil fuels but maybe we could have a few hours of hotter pools or higher prices.

Don't book the fire and ice. The jacuzzi is underfilled so the water doesn't reach the filter, so you have all sorts of gunk and hair on top, and half the jets don't work. 'experience showers' are pointless. Steam room is far too hot. No drinking water. Staff too young to care or know how to fix. The only saving grace was the massage which was really good. There is another jacuzzi in the hotel which works better than this one, and you can use for free.

Young girl behind the bar serving a little old lady. This barmaid was rude to the little old lady about not knowing the table number. I jumped in to help ,walked to the table and shouted the number to the very lazy barmaid. She said nothing. No thank you nothing. Just a look of hatred in her eyes. Chewing Gum behind the bar. Bad attitude. Not smiling! Obviously doesn't like her job. Needs to be re-trained on how to hold a glass. Not at the top of the rim where people drink from. I think she needs to be fired... a request was asked about food and the same barmaid went to the kitchen and shouted at the kitchen staff. Didn't sound good. Maybe the kitchen staff are aggressive. Not sure though. The bar was quite busy at this point. A tall lady in a dress. (A manager perhaps no name tag.) Walked passed all the people waiting at the bar poured herself a drink and walked away. Not helping with the service in any way. And getting in the way of the bad-attitude barmaid. As this tall lady walked away she said to me along the lines of quick escape"Not good at all.The pool was very good. Staff by the pool was very good and friendly. Would only come back for the pool

Take my daughter here quite often, she loves it. Large pool and a smaller family pool. About £16 for both of us however you have to pay for parking as well. Family pool isn't as warm as it used to be and looks a bit dated hence 4*.
