We own a flat in Hillhead . I am very happy to confirm, that despite previous issues with Walker Sandford when they did not attend to Storm damage and blocked drains in a timely fashon, recent communications have resolved the outstanding matters. There has also been a significant improvement in communication and a more personal and prompt approach to my questions and request for information.

We are currently in the process of buying a new property, and everything has gone so smoothly, with the exception of this factoring company. Our solicitor requested the basic paperwork from them 3 weeks ago, with still no update. Everything is in place for us to move, and the only people dragging their feet are 'Walker Sandford'. You can imagine how frustrating this is for us, and the seller's team. All we need is the basic paperwork displaying the factor's details etc. The fact they have been so slow to act on anything is truly shocking, and has extremely disappointed us. As soon as we get the keys to our new property, we will be contacting everyone else in the building with the intention of immediately switching factors, as this is more than enough to put us off. If they are this incompetent with simply sending a basic document across in an email, then I dread to think what sort of service they would provide if anything major were to happen within the building. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

TERRIBLE COMPANYI have a leak from my ceiling that was reported over four weeks ago, they sent someone to clean the gutters which didn't solve the problem.Every week I call to chase on them and every time they ask as if I have never reported the problem.They put you on hold and then the line always gets cut and they never call back.

CAUTION STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - very unprofessional, moved out of my flat in March 2016 due to water ingress of common gutter pipe. Still not resolved Jan 2017. Many, many complaints regarding their service.

Serious lack of management, care and attention. I’m in the process of removing them from our property management as they consistently fail at doing their job. I highly recommend you avoid at all costs.

Terrible service. Rarely respond to calls or emails and are quite rude when they do. Very unresponsive for repair requests - I raised a problem due to a leaking roof almost 4 months ago and they are yet to propose contractor quotes. When I phoned up to complain they rudely offered no explanation and refused to call me back to inform me of progress.DO NOT USE THEM.

Very bad communication & over charges, rogue factors seems like I will have to go to court over unfair penalties applied and they misused my dd mandate on many occasions to take large amounts without my authorisation!

As an owner of a property factored by Walker Sandford, words cannot accurately describe how terrible their service is.Repeated emails and phone calls go unanswered for weeks, if not permanently. Various staff members make offers of help first thing tomorrow" and promise urgent responses which never arrive

This firm epitomises everything that's wrong with Property Management Companies. They were recently accused over building jobs for the boys" in the Sunday Mail (July 2013) and the article does make sense. The article drew attention to several suspicious links between "Maintain-Us Building Ltd" (the contractor they use) and Walker Sandford. The anger and betrayal I felt after reading the article gave me the urge to leave this review. This wouldn't be such an issue if the contractors complete jobs to a high standard but it's not.As some constructive criticism to WS: you should COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CLIENTS more. The number of times work was done without me or other tenants being informed were too many.I urge landlords not to use this firm."

Terrible, unhelpful and often rude. Website is a complete embarrassment. Their antiquated payment system means you can't even access your account history, see your remaining balance etc. They're clearly not arsed to change it. Think our building is about to sack them - absolute waste of money.
