Stopped here for lunch and to break our journey. A toasted sandwich is over £8.00! Soup with two slices of bread was served as pictured. A very poor experience overall!

Restaurant busy today not enough staff again today, decided to have one of the lunch offers, food great but queues horrendous waiting approx 30 minutes in the queue to even order food. People jumping the queue to pay as only having cold snack option, so making things worse as only one cashier available and that was on the hot food counter, we spoke to the manager he just said short of staff and disappeared again. The food was great when we got it but very stressed by this point so unable to relax and enjoy it. Both myself and my husband are pensioners with health issues so we will not be repeating the experience again.

Over priced and dirtyThe price of food has become ridiculous, nearly £8 for a toasted cheese and tomato panini, when asking if it's possible to order individual items the staff are just rude in their response.The roast beef was dried out and nasty looking.Food all over the floors and nobody clearing it up.Seats badly stained and uninviting.If service and value for money doesn't improve the restaurant won't survive.

Went into here this morning, with my wife, for breakfast whilst waiting for my van to have a service and MOT. I thought it would be a nice change from the usual McDonald's,First and last time...I won't be going again!!!Whilst there were a few people in there, it wasn't exactly heaving with customers, but service was so slow. I ordered a bacon roll, and along with 2 large cappuccinos, the bill came to £13.09 which was ridiculously expensive.I had the option to leave my roll behind the counter, to keep warm, whilst queueing for our coffees, but thinking we wouldn't be long, I decided to keep it with me. This was a mistake because by the time I got my coffees, my roll was stone cold.My wife went to get the sugar, but every pack she picked up was split and unable to be used.Once we got to the seating area, it didn't get better as every table we went to sit at was filthy with stains and crumbs, and the seats were dirty, too. Even a customer said to us that all the tables are the same, and he wasn't wrong. We sat at what was possibly the cleanest table, but even then, we had to wipe it first.To sum up, the restaurant had terribly slow service, was horrendously overpriced, and was filthy dirty. I do not recommend going here until it cleans up its act.

They need to be more active with reducing damaged plants as there are too many bad plants out on display for full price. Otherwise, they have a great selection of houseplants you just have to watch what you're buying.They do have a reduced section but it seems staff don't know when to reduce things as for the last two times that I've visited the only things in the reduced section were fully dead beyond the point of saving them and were just crunchy sticks being sold for £££'s.The staff need some training to spot plants earlier and to either take action to save them or to reduce them to get the sale before they are crunchy crispy dead. It's a little embarrassing to see fully dead plants on the shelf!

After queuing for 15 mins to get a pot of tea my breakfast came after sit under a lamp before been plated for god knows how long, then sits under a lamp for a further 15 mins while waiting for my tea!! This isn’t the first time this has happened for me, it was all cold, I definitely won’t be coming again!! Need more staff and cook fresh food, loads was sitting out already cook!

Garden centre has plenty of variety, and a pet centre which is also a great place to shop. Restaurant clean and tidy, just a shame the service was slow, and in part felt like we was a burden. We arrived about 11:00, and just assuming as we later discovered breakfast stops at 11:30 we just got the left overs, bread was solid as a rock, and we only had the option of fried eggs. In general I've been for for lunch and all was good then. Just a shame today was a let down for what I'd consider a slightly premium place to eat, so would expect a little premium service, although to behonest I may have got little better service at Hungry horse down the road.

Nice food and nice staff however very long queues and very short of staff. They should open the other till for drinks. It's a nightmare just wanted to pay for a drink and needed to be in the huge queue specially with little ones. (About restaurant)

We use Dobbies regularly for the soft play and a cup of tea. We visited this morning and it was actually vile, the soft play was filthy. Food and wrappers on the floor, tables hadn't been wiped from the previous night and plates and food sat on trays from the previous day too. (I know it was from the previous day, due to the food on the plates not being breakfast) We visited at 9.30am so the days 1st customers. It was very off putting especially where children are crawling and walking about the floor. The staff should be ashamed to open a facility while the place was this dirty.

I have eaten here many times in the past but there's no way I'm paying £12 for a macaroni and cheese. In fact I think all the meals were a minimum of £12. I don't enjoy the food as much when I think I'm being exploited.
