Vital Family Dental Care

As mentioned by other reviewers, we found the receptionist to be incredibly rude and have left the practice because of her. The dentists there have always been good, but there tended to be a high turnover.

I love the vital family dental care when I called and said the smile studio 144 Bournemouth road threw me out the door after missing my appointment by ten minutes thanks too radio taxis I turned too you the vital family dental care. Can you imagine I've been loyal too the smile studio for 23 years I'm known as the piano man for RHP pianos now retired with lower back aches I'm also half blind age 55 I'm so pleased too be with you even your door number matches my year of birth I'm ok now no pain too worry about but being on your books is a god send tyvm indeed.when I called you the day I was told too leave the smile studio I was very upset very traumatised see the daily echo 20/07/2023 I'm a happy chap who looks quite funny with no front teeth the smile studio wanted £5000 too replace the missing teeth with implants £2500 a tooth personally I wouldn't recommend going there come too the vital family dental care they are fare they are polite they were shocked of my ordeal

Very unfriendly and cold atmosphere. Receptionist/Practice Manager very unfriendly and unhelpful. Stayed away through Pandemic as we were fortunate enough not to need dental treatment and leave appointments for others that need treatment, to be told that we are now dropped from the practice and cannot remain as patients even though they have not taken any new patients in the last 2 years!!

I have been with this practice for years although I liked the dentists there the receptionist is extremely rude. I think she is the wife of one ofthe dentists. I called to book a check-up a couple of days ago as things are slowly getting back to normal but was informed I have been taken off their register as I have not been to the dentist recently. She said the coronavirus pandemic did not affect anyone seeing the dentist! She said it was my responsibility that I had a 6 month check-up and the reminders they used to send were as a matter of courtesy. I have had no communication since my last appointment and she said I could not re-registers as they are not taking on any more NHS patients.

Unfortunately, I had to echo previous comments about the poor, not understanding and not customer friendly receptionist and service.I let the receptionist know about our special circumstances that our three-member family is extremely vulnerable to covid, especially my son. We lived in strict isolation in the past years. I had to take my son out of school and could not visit places even where a mask was mandatory. Today I called this practice about needing urgent help and unfortunately, I can not delay seeing a doctor. The receptionist did not understand our circumstances at all, was rude and with an unfriendly voice kicked us out from the practice saying we can not even re-register. I felt very let down and am very disappointed.

Long Overdue Review. Fantastic place. Hadn't been to the dentist for a while, Life gets in the way. Needed to get re registered and have a couple of teeth sorted. Receptionist was really helpful, sorted out the paperwork and arranged appointments for me around my complicated schedule. Had my treatments over the next few weeks, very informative and attentive. Good work. Everything delayed now due to Covid but will need to return soon. 5*

Lydia please stay. You are a very good dentist and there are not many like you.After two painful years, finally my teeth do not hurt any more.

I have been a patient at this practice for ten years ,having had mixed options of the dentists.But I must say that since the Indian dentists who I am a patient of the whole experience has been excellent

Seen a couple of dentists here – both really nice and very competent. The very friendly receptionist squeezed in my last appointment on the same day (incredible) and the dentist himself diagnosed the issue within 2 minutes and didn’t even charge me! They care more about the patients than the money – what more could you want?!!

My wife and I have used this practice for a couple of decades with no complaints. Individual dentists within the practice have come and gone to some extent, but the practice has always remained good; I do not recognise it in some of the more negative reviews left by other people. I would happily register with them again today.
