I’ve been treated by Denise for a number of different issues over the last few years, and she has always identified the root cause and successfully treated it. She has also helped me to understand what’s going on in my body, why it’s then resulted in the symptoms I’ve experienced, and provided useful advice.

After seeing various Doctors regarding vertigo and being offered lots of tablets to no avail I went to see Denise for Bowen Therapy. Denise explained about Bowen and was very positive about the outcome. After the treatment I felt very relaxed, the next day I felt amazing. The tension I normally have in my back and shoulders had gone and I have not had a dizzy episode since (over 2 months ago). I would definitely recommend Bowen Therapy and Denise McAvoy and wouldn't hesitate to contact her for treatment again if needed.

I have suffered for over 10 years with chronic pain, tried every pill and ecen had surgery to no effect. After a few sessions with Denise my pain has lessened dramatically and with regular treatments i can go for months with no pain at all! I was given Denise’s number by a friend who had previously gone to her, after a car accident my neck had very limited movement and after seeing Denise on a few occasions this greatly improved. The Bowen treatment works with your central nervous system I believe. The treatments I had have absolutely made a big difference and I have a lot more movement because of this, I would definitely recommend this as a form of treatment, it is totally relaxing and extremely gentle. Dense is absolutely lovely, Denise is thorough and extremely professional, this is definitely my go to treatment if you have any aches and pains.

I truly wish i did.Denise and her Bowen skills is the most fascinating, healing, non intrusive, amazing technique. I highly, highly recommend the technique and herself too.If you dont believe it would work as you have never heard of it or understand the technique at all. Just go once - you have nothing to lose.Go and let her talk you through it, let her work her knowledge (in a few session too!) and you will be writing one of these reviews.I have gone with 2 problems / issues / unfixable physical ailments (as gone to other medical practitioners). 1 problem - I can actually physically show others the progress in one session - amazing!2nd one - she has been my life saver. Years ago i had to learn to walk again after an accident, I could quite quickly after it but continued for years with so many different issues with one leg (which was the one that didnt move, years ago)I started to write notes of the changes after each session - the notes are 'long' all positive changes / improvements etc!!!!!!!Denise - is professional, extremely knowledgeable, has the amazing ability to look at all parts of your body and 'see' the issues. My wife has just had her second session with Denise and in her words it’s a miracle she can now walk and is pain free. Denise is very professional and very comforting . Denise has worked on my neck/back and on previous scar tissue and swelling from a broken leg and ankle. The results are amazing! The swelling/scarring on my leg has decreased, i can now comfortable wear some long boots which previously felt uncomfortable on the leg. I have a sense of calm and grounding and have felt great since my first session.
