Good local service.Nice selection of Morel lightweight frames. Store based at Arniston Durham has a wider selection of frames.

Was made to feel so welcome from walking in the door to leaving as a very happy lady. The staff were so helpful and the optician explained everything you needed to know and I recieved a text within 2 days saying my glasses were ready. We should all try and support our local buisnesses.

I've been attending The Village Optician since I was little and couldn't recommend more highly. They have very prompt communication regarding appointment availability, contact lens delivery and due check ups. I've visited a number of their sites and always welcomed with a friendly face. Great, realistic advice and an array of modern, on-trend glasses at an affordable price. Great job guys!

Must say I'm very disappointed with this place, not a great selection of glasses, had to pay for anti- reflective lenses. Got my first pair from Asda never paid extra, got my second pair from here never paid, this pair was told I would miss it if I didn't get the anti- reflection lenses, I agree, they proceed to charge me extra. Just to clarify when I got my first pair of glasses here, I said I didn't want to pay for anti-reflective lenses, when I went to pick them up, the optician advised they put it on free as I would really miss it.Shame that customer service is no longer given.WILL NEVER USE AGAIN, OTHER PLACES DO THE SAME IF NOT MORE GLASSES & YOU GET ANTI-REFLECTION LENSES ***FREE***

First class customer service from the Village opticians in Coxhoe.My daughter came home from school with the news that she had dropped and damaged her glasses. Unfortuantely we are going on holiday and there was not much time to get them repaired. So I popped into the Village opticians on the off chance and they fixed them efficeintly and quickly, without any fuss.Thank You So Much!Would definately recommend them :)

This is the best Opticians I have ever used. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The Opthamologist was very thorough and took the time to answer all my questions. When I went in to collect my contact lenses and glasses, I was pleased to discover that they were laid out all ready for me on a tray, with a small chocolate too. You don't get service like that in many places these days. I would definitely recommend this Opticians to friends and family. Thank you.
