All 4 of us (2 kids and 2 adults)Stayed in the pod for a night, warm, clean, tidy and well equipped.Site owner was lovely, site itself was great to explore. Was definitely a wild camping site, with all thewildlife to see. Although showing its age, the toilets and shower all worked fine. Great location to explore Margam park from and avoid the car park fee as well.

Loved the location of this place. I stayed on the hardstanding work a nice view of the sheep and horses. It's fabulous that kids can run free, you can have a fire and camp anywhere. They need a dog poo bin. However, the toilet block is absolutely dire. It's like a filthy builders cabin with swollen wooden floor. The shower was freezing, the toilet walls were dirty and inside the toilets were manky. They really need a good bleach and a scrub. Friends stsyed in the lodges at £55 per night, neither has working heating and one didn't have a working light. The portaloos next to the cabins didn't have water in them for flushing, people had to use their drinking water to flush. The blue liquid came out but not enough water to flush. And they stunk. These things are very easily fixable. This would then leave a lovely site, very relaxed with nice flat Woodlands. The proximity to Margam Park is fabulous too.

We had a lovely 6 nights and Mari was incredible! We arrived during Storm Betty and was happy to provide the Rec Room for us if we needed to shelter from the storm.Mari was always on hand to give local recommendations, such as Margam Country park (5 min walk from site) and waterfalls in Neath. This is a basic campsite, but it has everything you need for kids to enjoy the trip. We camped in the woods and we’ll be back for sure!
