Palmers Bakery

I love a bakery but this was an underwhelming visit. Cakes look ok but didn't taste great. Sandwiches are ok. Pulled pork was not nice, I couldn't eat it.

Have twice had a takeaway drink from here. First a coffee then a cappucino. Both had funny taste, even tho it was from a machine in a sealed cup. I think the hot water used in the machine is not the best. The drinks had a horrible metallic taste. I threw the drinks away both times and will never go there again. The cheese pastie was OK tho.

Local to me but I don’t make a habit of going there as it’s not that good.Lovely staff isn’t enough….. I can buy better bread in the SupermarketThey need a better baker who can bring it up to modern requirements

It was a great choice on the sandwich board There was a great range of cakes and breads The clean and tidy shop was great value for money and best of all was the staff made you feel part of the family they have time to talk to you just looking forward to calling again

Don't have the hot drinks. I had hot chocolate, it's was Cadburys, from a machine, it tasted awful, maybe the water has been in machine too long? Couldn't drink it. Sausage roll was ok.

Staff unattentive and spent the whole time on her phone and didn't smile or say hello once! Food not home made and incredibly processedWent in there as I fancied a savoury pastry for lunch, walked in and the lady behind the counter didn't even look up at me just stared at her phone which I felt was quite rude. After asking what was the filling of the pastry she sighed and listed them then went straight back on her phoneI chose one with sausage, bacon and beans in. the sausage was the cheapest tasting sausage I have ever eaten, I would questions if there was any real meat in it! and the beans were strange squares that looked like egg and tasted of potato in a weak tomato sauce.Got a bottle of coke as well and cost me £5 with the minging soggy pastry.Don't think I'll be back again. I have worked in hospitality for 7 years and I know we all have bad days but is it really that hard to just greet and customer when they walk through the door?

Ordered rolls over the phone and collected, the fillings were very tasty and plentiful
