Astrid & Miyu

Had an amazing experience at the Neal Street Astrid and Miyu getting welded bracelets (middle stack). Holly welded bracelets for my mum and I and they look great. The process was easy and quick. Great service from the store. very happy with the overall service and jewellery. got the other bracelet welded a year ago and has held up really well too.

Had my first tattoo here (age 75!). Tattooist (Alessandro) was lovely and gave great advice. Salon is spotless. Great range of jewellery too

Had a fabulous piercing experience here for a helix piercing. I was very nervous and almost chickened out but Bethan, the piercer, was so kind and talked me through the whole experience. It was so swift and she did a fabulous job of keeping me calm and happy, overall leaving me very happy with my gorgeous new piercing. Plus, love the jewellery so much, such a wide collection and it’s all gorgeous. All of the other staff at the store, including Izzy, were so lovely and encouraging as well. Overall would definitely recommend to everyone. Thank you Astrid and Miyu Neal St!

Unfortunately, my experience here was slightly underwhelming. As a gift for my birthday my partner bought me a few stacks of new earrings. I was under the impression that the staff would be able to help build a stack, and there would be a more consultative approach. I didn’t feel very welcomed and I can’t say they made me feel comfortable - if anything their entire disposition changed after they realised we’d be spending over £100. Not only was this disappointing given the hype of Astrid and Miyu but as a person of colour I expected better as so many white women have had such positive experiences. As for the jewellery, it’s perfect - I’ve had it for a few months and the quality has been great so far. My only frustration is around customer service which I didn’t feel was its best and would be the reason I don’t return or recommend.

Had a lovely experience getting my new piercing at astrid and miyu by Geraldine. She was so friendly, gave me good advice about how to look after and clean my piercing. Definitely would recommend.

Stylish and super clean piercing studio. Took my daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time. Bamela, who did the piercing, was very kind and reassuring. Excellent advice on after care etc. High quality earrings which look great - my daughter is delighted. Quite expensive but worth it.

The store is lovely, the jewellery is very pretty (albeit expensive) and the staff are friendly. However I have not had the best experience with the piercings themselves.The first time we went we were a party of 4. 3 of us had ear piercings and one had a nose piercing. I had 2 cartilage piercings in one sitting, one of which fell out a few weeks later and I had to come back to get it reopened. The same happened with to my friend who had her nose pierced; the piercing fell out. The other two began to experience bleeding and swelling and had to remove their piercings. Given that everyone is different and ultimately once reopened, my piercing was fine, I gave A&M another shot.I had 2 flat piercings on my other ear some months later. The post for one for one of them felt very short and as I told the piercer my other piercing had fallen out, this one was put on very tightly. The skin on the back of my ear has since tried to heal over the back post (the beginning of an embedded piercing) and I’ve had to remove the piercing as it’s extremely painful.It’s a shame 4 of us have had negative experiences with piercings here as it is a lovely place and the staff were friendly however I wouldn’t return especially given the amount of money I’ve paid.

Bamela was my piercer today and she was great! We did a jewellery change on my daith and a trigs piercing. All handled quickly and professionally, with aftercare details given. highly recommend if you would like a piercing done with high quality jewellery. Staff in the shop were also very friendly and welcoming.

The store on Neal St is gorgeous and Geraldine is the most fabulous person and piercer. Really warm and chatty, and helped me with jewellery choice and placement. So happy with how my piercing looks.

I got 3 piercings done here and the piercer was amazing. This person went above and beyond to make me feel calm, relaxed and informed about my piercings I was getting. They were really easy to relate to, and took away all the anxiety I had leading up to getting more piercings. I really recommend this place and especially Genevieve. They were wonderful and accommodating and really good at making it as painless as possible. Thank you so much
