I hope that at some point they got their renovation target it can be updated, especially the seating which my wife found uncomfortable. It's a lovely old theatre and I have always enjoyed coming here, but there is a lot of upkeep and modernisation required. Still, the play we saw (The Mouse Trap) suites a place like this down to the ground and was very enjoyable. We look forward to going back soon.

Booked a box at Grand Theatre for five people. It states that you have a side view of stage which is true but very restricted. Can hardly fit four seats in a row at front of box. So only one or two in box can get a decent view at any one time. It seemed like a good idea at the time but wouldn't bother again!!

Absolutely love our local theatre. A wonderful performance this evening of The Nutcracker. A big shout out to all involved in putting together this performance; extremely enjoyable and to the fabulous ballet dancers too.

Easy access with little queueing. Old style tilt seating with limited leg room.Soft drinks and snacks available. It is a lovely old provincial theatre in Cardiff center. Surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars . Well worth a visit to see the interior decor.

Always a pleasure to visit this beautiful old theatre. All staff first class and the entertainment always meets expectations - a real asset to our lovely city of Swansea.

Tucked away in the city centre, the faded glamour of an old school theatre is not to be missed. Yes, it needs some TLC (cash) to make it sparkle again. But, it's glorious and a great place to see a show.I'm aware of the theatre community here trying to preserve its history and keep it running. Good on them!Book your tickets and have a great time being entertained! Use it or lose it...

Attended a recording of BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends presented by Clive Anderson. A wonderful evening with a wonderful roster of guests including Max Boyce, who was kind enough to have a picture with us at the end. I love this theatre. It's a community gem and wonderfully decorated for the Christmas holiday. Friendly staff and a superb history.

A Beautiful old Theatre, late Victorian. It's so good to see it thriving, and to see visitors from a wide range of ages coming through it's doors. I was worried when I first heard the news about the Copr Bay Arena, as I thought that it would affect audience numbers at The Grand! I needn't have worried. I'm my opinion they have many more interesting and varied shows at The Grand. The staff are friendly and helpful, there's a wonderful atmosphere, lovely bars, and a varied collection of goodies in the 'Tuck Shop'. My only gripe is the size of the seats. If you're on the larger side, when you first sit down, there's the frightening sensation of being gripped in a vice! Thankfully the feeling eventually passes. The seating has to be designed this way, to fit as many patrons in as possible. But, apart from that little niggle, a visit to Swansea Grand Theatre guarantees a great night out!
