Excellent short stayRooms exeptional - in perfect condition. Friends had a ground floor courtyard room which is more compact but more accessible, with dedicated parking space right outside.My room was upstairs and huge.Staff lovely but like most hospitality business they are under staffed. Slightly longer service times accordingly. Grounds and location excellent also.

Don’t order afternoon tea, our surprise wedding anniversary afternoon tea was a complete disaster. The home made jam was from a small jar, the scones were rock hard and no cream, no home made sausage rolls substituted with half pork pie, 6 small cakes and no sandwiches. Very disappointing and it must have cost our daughter a fortune. No wonder there were only 5 other people in the restaurant.

TOURING PITCH .Been on several occasions. But enough is enough. Too many sirens. Too near main road. No water or waste next to van. £30 a night. Compared with other sites it's expensive. Found one nearby for £23 with water and grey waste. Also a bin . All next to your van . But this site makes you park car in front of van. Makes it tight for getting out. Pitch only enough room for van and awning.But let's them put more caravans on. People that close could put hand out window and nearly touch them. But go and see for your selves. Good points location. Good facilities. Sorry but compared with other sites this is my opinion

Like it here.Live reasonably local and sometimes visit for a coffee and to meet friends.Ample parking.Well regarded by visitors and locals alike

We stayed for 2 nights in a suite and a standard double, family with kids, grandparents and a dog. Rooms were clean, comfortable, no complaints. Hotel is tidy and clean, well maintained, nice garden courtyard. Breakfast is nice and plentiful. Dinner was also good and the drinks. Service could be quicker but was pleasant and overall would definitely stay again and recommend it.

We had a lovely bar meal and the staff were amazing. Certainly somewhere we will go to again, (actually going to book a meal in the restaurant for next month) and we would highly recommend it. Thank you.

Didn't stay here, just booked Sunday lunch. Well presented and tasty. Outdoor setting is peaceful.

Didn't have a room as parked the campervan up. The meal I had was the best I've had in the UK since arriving from Australia in February 2023.Absolutely first class.Staff were very helpful and polite too. Highly recommended.
