Stourport Riding Centre

My son has autism and rides on a Saturday. They have been absolutely brilliant with him, chatting with me at length about his needs, and he loves it. All the extra helpers on the yard are always busy, and the teaching standard is high (ex riding instructor !)

We moved to Stourport Riding Center from another yard, and wished we had done so years ago! We ride together as a family (Mom, Dad and two girls)The facilities are top notch, the horses and ponies are all well schooled - allowing you to progress and ride independently. The best thing about this yard though are the riding instructors! They plan lessons to be interesting, progressive and fun. They will move at a pace that's appropriate for the skill level of the participants, and give very specific and valuable instruction.There's so much packed into our 30 minute lessons, it's actually unbelievable - and I often come away with a sweat on!At the end of each lesson, there is always a post ride review that reiterates your strong and weak points, with opportunities for improvement. Throughout the year, there are lots of things going on - from 'own a pony' days to jump clinics.I cannot recommend this yard highly enough!

Wonderful facilities been having lessons for the last 6 years and look forward to every lesson. The staff are lovely very helpful and know their subject. Instructors are all really trained to a high standard and frankly can't speak high enough of the entire business.

Brilliant facilities, instructors and horses! Lessons are well structured, interesting and fun, covering a variety of skills and ensuring everyone makes progress. Positive feedback is given throughout and consolidated at the end, perfect!

We took our Granddaughter here for her first riding experience and it was excellent from start to finish. We had a lovely warm welcome, our Granddaughter was put at ease, her instructor was kind and encouraging and her pony ' Bear' perfect for a beginner. Great facilities, super friendly staff, she wants more!!!

My son has down Syndrome and has been having riding lessons here for the last year until recently when we were told he could no longer have lessons due to his disability because it would require them to do a risk assessment for him to have lessons meaning basically no one could be bothered to do one. I found this a very poor response and discriminatory.

Such a great riding school, the staff and facilities are awesome.

Came here for my 6 year old son who was referred by physio to help gain core strength and leg strength that he's lost due to chemotherapy treatment for leukaemia.He absolutely loved it and we were made to feel so welcome.

Brilliant centre been coming here a good few years now. Excellent facilities and the staff are the best you could wish for, riders of all ages are put at ease and are given the confidence to grow with each lesson. Well done SRC keep up the good work

My daughter has been riding here for three and a half years, she loves it and spends all day Saturday helping out after her lesson.They have a large number of horses who are well behaved and the instructor she has is a diamond.I would recommend this stable to anyone, they also have indoor arenas so the weather never gets in the way!
