Key cutting, shoe repairs, dry cleaning, watch repairs, passport photos and selling things from the shelf. John is great but you only ever seem to have one staff member on to manage all of this. Sometimes you could be waiting a while.

Thank you to John @Timpson Upton. John went out of his way and took the time to match a fond I had previously engraved. It was near closing time and he still gave me such friendly and patient advise. 5 Stars!

Went in for a replacement watch battery ....which I noticed wasn't working as I left the store....went back but he wasn't interested !So just taken to Phoenix watch repairs in Liverpool....he had a look and reackons circuit damaged when replacing battery.....they see it all the time apparentlySo the moral of this story is don't take a watch to the cobblers for a new battery....can't believe I'm actually saying that to be honest....what was I thinking lol

If I could give a zero star, I will.You will get ripped off if you dare to use this place.After messing around with my watch, try as I would I could not close the back (it is snap-on back). Went to this place to see if they could help me. With them being a business, I did not expect them to do it for nothing. I was prepared to purchase a battery from them. But instead of installing the new battery, I just want them to snap the back on. I would think that is fair enough.I was offered 2 prices, one is about £11, the other ... £15 something !! Personally, I was prepared to pay round £5, but this is ridiculous. You can get any size of watch batteries online for a couple of pounds max. So I was being charged £9 - £13 for the labour. Which with the right tools will take less than a minute to fix.And you wondered why local business is dying out !! They are pricing themselves out of business.

Went there to get my watch battery replaced (seiko)...... was quoted £31 !!!Have since obtained correct battery from Amazon for £2.09 (free postage)Stay clear of these robbers at Timpsons !

Went to Timpsons store in Upton, Sainsbury’s for printing birthday banners for my partner’s birthday. Brilliant service and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Printing quality very good, would definitely recommend to others

John was very polite, helpful and professional in his researching my car key, giving payment options and cutting my house keys within 5mins of handing him them. Very impressed!
