Headcase Barbers St Albans

Had a haircut from Luke today. Don’t post reviews very often but I wanted to say this guy is a top guy and would recommend anyone giving him a try. I understand he’s still a junior member of the team but he’s cut was class and he has great chat and is an interesting fella.I’ve been coming here for years and my regular cut is by Matt, who is best in class and more like a mate than a barber. Would defo recommend.Everyone here has sharp fades and scissor work. This place is and has been my go to place for years.I will always go back for the cuts by Matt, but now wouldn’t hesitate to be cut by Luke (or Paul who is obviously great as other reviews have covered) should Matt not be around. Five stars.

A great barbers. I went with my daughter (10) who has short hair. Matt cut her hair and is a great professional with the skills to back it up. He adapted as he went along and listened to the request, but also used his knowledge to suggest the best way to go. Charlie cut my hair and did a great job. He was a little quicker as I dont have as much hair these days, but he made it look pretty slick! Great interior to the shop and comfy environment. Staff are great and most importantly the haircuts and awesome.

I don't take trying out a new barber lightly but was in a jam after work and this place was open and local. Once people started mentioning my hair I realised I'd got lucky with my 'emergency haircut'. The guys in there are nice as well as chatty. The best barber in St. Albans.Worth updating that years down the line I still won’t go to another place for a hair cut.

First time at Headcase and not the last for sure. Paul did a great job with my curly hair. Thumbs up and 5 star. See you soon.

Just had my hair cut and it was an amazing experience. 10/10. I'm terrible and didn't catch the man's name but he gave a top quality cut that suits my hair type (and hopefully my face haha). I'm usually not chatty, finding small talk a bit awkward at times, but I found myself engaged in pleasant conversation. They were very clean inside and made me feel quite safe, with covid in mind. They had hair products if that's your thing and seemed well equipped. I'd definitely recommend popping in and can't thank them enough for tolerating my endless chatter and giving me an awesome (and fiance approved) cut :) Will definitely be back.

I've been getting my hair cut by Paul for over a year now and every time it's perfect. Appointments always run on time and i always enjoy our chats. Can't recommend him enough!

I’ve been going to Headcase St Albans since they opened. Paul and Matt are extremely talented and professional barbers.It’s not just an excellent haircut, I genuinely look forward to coming in for a chat and catching up as well!They take the time to advise on my style and answer questions I might have. They take time over their cutting, it’s not a quick trim and onto the next customer type of experience as is common with a lot of men’s barbers these days. They take pride in their work and this value their clients. Oh, and always a cracking playlist on the box too!I’d recommend these guys to anyone

First time coming to Headcase and I’ll be coming back for sure. Got a great trim for a very reasonable price, you can tell these chaps are serious about barbering. The shop’s both smart and stylish and the playlist was on point which is an added bonus. Highly recommend these guys.
