Was on holiday in Cromer when my dog took ill. I Was recommended by my own vet to contact Miramar. I must say I was very impressed by the efficiency of the staff and the caring manner that was shown to us at this worrying time. A big Thank you to the young man we saw who sorted out lily dog in no time.Once again many thanks.Linda Watson

Fantastic practice. They fitted me in at the last minute on a Friday night when we were visiting from London. The receptionists were really helpful and the vet was knowledgeable and friendly. The store was well stocked and they had the best treats on sale!

Due to incompetence of vet our 15 month old St Bernard could have lost his sight. They tried to make excuses by stating that they could not examine Teddy properly but made him an appointment for surgery 6 days later, even though they couldn't examine him properly! It was only because we insisted that he be seen by another vet, the following day as he was going mad rubbing his eyes and crying, that they saw him again. Result - he had to be referred urgently to Cambridge University Veterinary College for surgery to save his sight. To top it all there was a problem with his records (item listed that was mentioned as a possibility in the future for the breed) but no further action/treatment given. As a result the insurance company refused to pay the claim. We asked the surgery to speak to the insurance company to explain the situation. They refused stating that they legally had to give details of the consultation even though it was only mentioned as a possibility for the future, he had no actual signs of the condition at that consultation and no treatment was given to him. It has now cost us thousands of pounds for the surgery carried out at Cambridge University simply because they refused to discuss the situation with the insurance company. If I could put a -10 score I would! IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMALS DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PRACTICE.

I have had animals all my life but being new to this area this was the first time I had used this vets practice. Sadly I was having to have my beautiful 18 year old cat Hector euthanized, I have often found some vets and the staff to be quite cold and not very easy to talk to but from the help and advice given on the phone to how caring and understanding the staff were here I can honestly say I would highly recommend this practice and thank them so much for making a sad event a little easier. Thank you!

I can't thank this practice enough, I had to have my beloved family cat put down last week. William was 21 and it was very important to me that I had the nicest people that I could find to do that. I saw Jane a couple of times and she really was genuinely and compassionate... and so she made the ordeal so dignified. I feel very fortunate to have had found this practice, and I can truly recommend it as somewhere you can really trust to care. A week later today" I even received a card to say that they were sorry for the loss of William...K Bromell-Schiel"

Lovely, caring helpful vets. The waiting room is nice and airy, bright and welcoming. The shop has a nice selection of all things pet related. There seem to have been a few new receptionists started at the same time who perhaps aren't quite as fully trained as they should be in the computer system nor customer services, resulting in long waits 10 mins) to pay the last couple of times we've had to visit.

Always welcomed by friendly and knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to help with poorly animals, even treating them in the back of the car when they're too stressed to into the surgery.

Friendly staff, clean and well laid out clinic. Nice onsite shop for specialist pet foods and charitable items. My cats hate being put in the carrier, but they rarely feel nervous here unlike previous vets I've taken them to

Great experience this morning when I phoned to make an urgent appointment for my dog. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and got me booked in for an early slot. The surgery itself is nice and spacious and very clean. The vet was lovely, gave my dog a thorough examination, performed a small procedure and explained the ongoing treatment. Reasonably priced in my opinion.

Contacted the emergency vet early Sunday morning. Not only were they quick, helpfull, caring, professional. They were human, understood my grief and went above and beyond to help our little dog, who sadly didn't survive.
