Visited yesterday, as I am disabled I was very thankful of the courteous, and extremely caring nature of one of your waitresses Destiny, what a lovely girl so very kind and respectful.Only had Coffee and Tea Cakes with my friend, only complaint was very stingy on the butter wasn't even enough for half a Tea Cake, but lovely coffee and wonderful service. This young lady is an asset to your organisation.

Called today for lunch. We both chose the fish goujon basket. When the food arrived it was obvious it had been standing around for a while - barely warm chips, fish was rubbery and batter soggy - also tepid temperature. £12 per person. Small portions too. We sent it back and moved to Bannisters Restaurant at the other side of the store. We were greeted by James who took our order - 2 small fish and chips. £12.50 each. Much larger portion, piping hot, friendly service from everyone and the service was attentive and efficient. We’ll be making straight for Bannisters next time!

So where do I start then. We went for breakfast as it was our friends birthday. We ordered our food and then a few minutes later the waitress says they can't make our food. Then she tells us they can't make anything as there's a problem. Then we were given free drinks and my mug had brown stains in it. Ruined her birthday. Will not be coming back to this place.

Everytime we go here they never have anything in stock. We wanted a savory afternoon tea which starts at 2.30pm we arrived at 2.45 with hardly any tables filled and they still had no quiche or soup or sausage roll and no brown bread. Not a good way to run business. We walked out!! This has happened on numerous occasions!!

We had to wait ages to be seated. Then the toasted t cake wasnt toasted properly and the butter was runny all over the plate and then we noticed people waiting to be seated when we finished our meal but no one was around to help something to say you were short staffed today.

I took my 2 grandchildren after school. The food was lovely but not a lot of choice for a vegetarian sadly. The guy who served us was fantastic. Really good with both girls and he went out of his way to be as helpful as possible. He suggested leek and potato soup and a bread roll. Which was good. The other staff members were conspicuous by their absence! Chatting throughout our visit by the till! Good job the guy was on it!

Started off not very good when lemonade was just soda water. Waited 15 mins for waitress to bring replacement and waited 45 mins for our food then it came out wrong. Ended up walking out without waiting for them to correct food. Management apparently tell staff not tell customers of the wait time for food if we had known it was going to take nearly an hour to do a beef sandwich we would have gone to another of the restaurants. This was only at 12 so it wasn't overly full. Young lad on tills apologised for our experience.

Clean, quick, polite service. cheese and chorizo quiche is something out of the ordinary, the skin on fries is one of best I've had. Know that's easy yet not every restaurant or cafe does it right. The cakes are tad pricey.

I don't often leave scathing reviews of places, but I feel it necessary to write about this place.Recently opened, The Hive restaurant replaced Bumbleinis - a former pizzeria that did a wide selection of pizzas and platters. The prices in Bumbleinis were reasonable, and the food delicious.The Hive has replaced this once-excellent establishment with a generic sandwich cafe, with a menu which is not super vegetarian/vegan friendly, and prices that are eye-watering in the current climate.We ordered two hot" sandwiches - one "bacon
