The hotel is a nice budget hotel opposite Leeds Train station. The rooms are small but clean, friendly service. Perfect for a night out in Leeds but probably wouldn't want to stay any longer than 1 night.

Whenever I book a lower end" accommodation all I expect is cleanliness and comfort. This place ticked both of those boxes. Although they have no disabled rooms I was able to secure a room with walk in

If want a cheap place to stay the night in a good location, this is the place for you.The bed is comfy and the towels are clean, but the carpet and furnishings in the room were stained.Staff are friendly and helpful, replaced a broken hairdryer within a matter of minutes.The double glazing on the windows isn't that good, so be aware due to its location by the station and a number of busy pubs it's noisy at night.

Currently there are major roadworks right outside the hotel so if you are a light sleeper you may be woken up early when works restart. The rooms however are comfortable and clean , the staff are pleasant. The continental breakfast however was very basic and not really at the level I would expect . Go to wetherspoons just up the road for breakfast is my advice.But a place to crash and use just as a base it's fine. I would go again.

Actually better than expected for a 2 star hotel. Rooms were clean although quite tired. Water was hot and bed was comfortable - if that's all you're looking for, this is fine.

Ideally situated in the center of Leeds, short walk from railway station. Pleasant obliging staff. Room very clean, a little warm but otherwise OK. Continental breakfast, was additional cost, but very good value and nice food and drinks. Would recommend the Discovery.

Couldn’t sleep at all as you can hear everything outside the room. My room’s on the 3rd floor, people walk through the corridor every now and then between 10:00 pm - 5:00 am and most of them talk really loud. I can feel the bed bugs too which is the other annoying thing to disrupt my sleep. Location’s good for short stay visitors, literally just outside of the train station. Thankfully it’s an overnight stay, otherwise I won’t spend over 100 quid for such unpleasant experience.

thin walls and people running around upstairs from 8am. Shower is only slightly warm and like a tap from the wall, dont recommend. To get to our room we had to take 1 lift, walk round the halls, take another lift and walk round more halls, it was like a maze.. if a maze also had bright blue carpets with large gold diamonds on. Location is good, had to park elsewhere.

The hotel was a bit difficult to locate though it’s in city centre. The room was very clean but the bathroom needed deep cleaning. A bit noisy at night but overall it was great experience especially for a 2-star hotel. I give it a 4/5.

Great location, next to the train station but quiet. Rooms are a bit small and have not been renovated since quite some time but are clean and decent. Service was prompt and the lady at the reception even offered us a full discount on the fee we had to pay in order to drop the luggage inside for a few hours before the check in,which is at 2pm. Overall , a nice experience. I would definitely visit again next time I am in the beautiful and vibrant town of Leeds.I was lucky to get a room on the last floor, so I got some beautiful pictures. Note that the last floor has no elevator so you would have to use the stairs from the 5th floor to the 6th .
