I absolutely love this place and a frequent diner. Their pies are superb. Pastry is crunchy and the fillings are as you expect from a good freshly made pie. My only criticism is the gravy & mash. Whilst the mash is acceptable it’s nowhere near to the standards of their pies. As for the gravy, it really needs to pack more flavour as it does the pies no justice. It’s very thin and just bland with no structure. I’m surprised they haven’t developed their own signature gravy. That said the parsley sauce is very nice which is what I go for. I still highly recommend this restaurant & hope they develop their gravy & mash in the future. A must visit if you’re in Winchester.

Piecarmba is a pie lover's paradise! The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a captivating atmosphere that immerses you in a world of movie nostalgia. The shop is filled with movie memorabilia, adorned with posters and props, its cool to recognise all the references and jokes. And old-timey games defo adds to the overall experience. The food is good and the staff is nice, but the restaurant itself for its decor is worth the visit

We had a family gathering in Piecaramba! so it was great for such a small place to accommodate family of 12, they allowed us to bring our own birthday cake etc. However because place is small it becomes very noisy quick what affects the atmosphere. Interior is quirky and fun. Pies were a little overcooked and crusts were super hard, some pies tastier than other. Staff was lovely, but seemed lost in managing bigger group of customers, but nothing major.

Visited today with with my husband and 4yr old for lunch. Had a warm welcome when we arrived and was explained how the menu worked. The restaurant was small but wasn't busy when we arrived shortly after they opened at around 12.15pm Monday. The waiter explained my son could play with all the toys in the window and action figures. He didn't peep over lunch and was very busy playing! We had a couple of games of Mario Kart which was fab too.Food arrived quickly and hot, nice pies, mash and gravy. All in all a great lunch. £12 for a meal which was prices right.Make sure you use the toilet as its an experience!

Excellent gluten free pie! Lovely meal. Even took two pies home as I couldn't choose one filling. Great service and very fun decor.

Such a cool place, took lots of pics of the decor! Very reasonably priced. My chicken pie was great, but my mash was cold, the meat in my friend's beef pie wasn't very tender and his mash was cold too...however, the gravy and the liquor were top notch and, the pastry was fantastic and the flavours were great! We'd definitely go back***update***We went back! Friend made a better pie choice (BBQ chicken), mash was hot, pies were crisp and delicious, only thing that wasn't as good was the liquor this time. But I'd now give 4.5 stars. Staff also lovely

Booked a table last minute for a late Sunday lunch. Retro games and decor was really fun, the food was simple but really good and the service was excellent (forgot to ask server her name but she has dark hair and a killer accent). Alcoholic slushies were nice but definitely not for those who don't have a sweet tooth.

Advise you book if you want to eat is this awesomely nostalgic pie shop. We were very lucky and got slotted in but every table was reserved and I can see why.The decor is a geeks wet dream. Being a massive comic and movie geek it was amazing to see retro movie posters covering the ceiling, murals on the walls and toys galore. Some of the big tables even had retro home gaming consoles hooked up to a screen for dinners to play.Every single pie is gluten free which is an absolute blessing! Normally I have a very restricted menu but not this time. You pick you pie which all have cool sounding names, everything from Blue Steel to Mac to the Future, your mash style with options like cheesy mash, mustard mash (there is a regular option don't worry), between beens and mushy peas and then a gravy or liquor suace.Everything was so good but the mushy peas were some of the best in a pie shop I have EVER tasted and that's saying something after living in East London for over 10 years!I would love to have got more pics of the decor but it was packed full of dinners.

Picked up a couple of pies to takeaway, and they were incredible - we shared a Holy Cow and Mac To The Future. Was fun to play a couple of classic PlayStation games whilst waiting too. Can’t wait to return!
