This cafe is a hidden gem within Bournemouth. I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of the drinks, and the knowledge of the staff. Will come back again. :)

Asked for a decaffeinated coffee as I am very sensitive to Caffèine. Saw the dark haired lady use the same beans being ground as the cafinated blend so I double-checked before drinking it and was told its 'what I'd ordered'...caffeine reactions & still very awake early hours of the morning so presume they couldn't be bothered to listen to the request for decaff and served regular coffee instead - Be careful if you have allergies, etc.

Have been using this place for years, and Often find myself here whilst doing admin. Clean and tidy exactly what you would expect Great friendly staff ( who remember your name)and good coffee and a range of hot food and nibbles.

Westbourne Starbucks is a regular meeting place for me. The coffee and toasted sandwiches / cake are consistently good. The students doing their English language coursework add to the atmosphere!I've never experienced yobbery there or had to put up with people whose parents failed to teach them how to behave in a public space. Just the place in which to put the world to rights with a friend or two...

Theirs two separate seating areas, I tend to go in the second room, much more room and space to sit and enjoy coffee, I had the salted pretzel hot chocolate and salted caramel brownie. Staff kept the areas clean and tidy.

This Starbucks is a gem used by gym members nhs patients, businesses for meetings and localsSadly, it’s due a major refurb and this still hasn’t happened so it’s services are deteriorating day by day.The dishwasher’s been broken since pre covid, so takeaway cups abound. (Not recyclable in Bournemouth so a real environmental mistake )for a company as large as StarbucksThere s been no ice available for about a month and the fridge has been broken for a couple of weeks so there’s limited food available. It’s extremely busy at times and as coffee is a premium price (as it’s a franchise in a hotel) It’s obviously making lots of money.The Village hotel has had its own refurb so Starbucks is way behind its scheduled refurbThe staff are always cheerful and helpful despite the difficulties and when the till kept breaking last year, were under lots of pressure, but were polite and efficient, despite the difficult circumstances and customers frustrations. They are a credit to the businessStarbucks is opposite the hospital and has great coffee and a good place to meet up with friends.
