Barry and Dan have just been to fit fire doors for us and they have done an absolutely faultless job. They were careful, polite and considerate, also nice to have in the house. Once they finished the job they tidied up really carefully and have left us with lovely doors! Would definitely now be top of our list for handy work and recommend them highly.

I give credit for Man Maid for quoting for the work - something other builders just could not deliver. The constant changing of appointments and poor communication was unideal, but sadly the end quality of the work was substandard, and even when an appointment was made to assess the final work, that appointment was missed. I can't doubt that Mungo's intention to deliver was there, but it was poorly executed and poorly managed. I guess I am one of the few customers who were dissatisfied. Even when I sent pictures of the poor work there was no acknowledgment that the work was substandard, although I did receive a discount on the original price. I wish them well but the business needs to tighten up on communication and delivery - I am a pretty easy going person and eventually lost my patience. They have previously been super helpful, but I guess I am just one of those customers that you learn from the experience and interaction.

I had an issue with some leaking pipes that I wasn’t able to sort out for months. I called Man Maid and had the pleasure of having Barry service me with the utmost professionalism and expertise that he was able to get the job done in very little time. I appreciated how he ran back and forth between my place and his company to get me the replacement piece.Thank you Barry.

I needed a light switch changed in my living room and I had seen this local business and decided to given them a try. Very professional local business, quick and responsive to my needs and work carried out the next day. Barry came and changed my light switch, again very professional and knowledgeable. I had a 8.30 am appointment. He rang before to let me know he was coming and was on time. Work completed with no fuss. Mungo, Rory and team are amazing handymen that have sorted multiple issues at our terraced house in Southfields , ranging from sash window restoration, new tap installs, hanging cupboard doors and shelves. Always great with communication and invoicing is upfront and transparent.

Had worked for Man Maid for only a few days, no introduction to how the business worked but ended on a very bad note. Have not been paid, upon going to the office i was confronted in a very aggressive way.The owner of the business tried to kick me because I wanted an explanation as to why he gave me no reason to end my employment police were called by myself as the aggression was totally unbelievable.Turnover of staff seems to be very quick too so as for me being a disgruntled employee is a joke.Furthermore the first job that I was asked to attend was installing an RSJ without proper support until I proved that the support for the RSJ was insufficient.Have been paid now but took over a month to get paid, whilst trying to communicate with Mungo my phone was blocked and email totally ignored, Mungo is not a very nice person to be honest be warned he can be very petty and rather aggressive.If any dispute I have proof, I refuse to have my reputation tarnished by the comments from Mungo or Man Maid
