Boswells new cafe is a vast improvement on the last one. This Cafe is spacious, bright and clean and tidy.Even though it was busy the service was fast and friendly.I had a Bakewell cake and flat white both were lovely.I sat Upstairs which was quieter and more spacious than downstairs, so if it looks busy when you enter it is worth checking out Upstairs which will probably be quieter.

When Boswells moved it seemed like the end of an era, but the new location and the upstairs addition was really nice. Its definitely worked to increase customers but at the expense of the food. When they first opened the food was great but service was quite long, we didn’t mind service took longer because the food was fresh. But they soon started to worry about getting the food out quicker, and as a result the guys just crack eggs on the hotplate and leave them there being cremated for 10’s of minutes. It has resulted in the fried eggs being horrible, they are so over cooked and are like chewing on old leather, they are practically inedible.I’ve continued going back for several weeks, and also mentioned it to them, but they haven’t changed. I went again today and leather like eggs that were horrible were served again. I also saw several people that had removed the yolk but left the leathery eggs on the plate, so clearly others are not happy either. To be honest fried eggs take a couple of minutes, and the lazyness of cracking 30 eggs on the hotplate and leaving them to be destroyed is ruining their brunch and breakfasts.I won’t be going there any more for their all day breakfast unfortunately, shame as we used to go every Saturday.*UPDATE*As per below response from Boswells, I took the time to email them feedback. Their response stated that senior management denied how they cooked their eggs had changed, even though I have been going to Boswells for over 20 years and have seen it with my own eyes. The response also said they would not change and nothing could be done, so to order something else instead. A really bad attitude toward customer feedback on their product. So I recommend steering clear, unless of course you want the totally inedible fried eggs like in my picture. I’ll be asking others on social media to share their feedback as well, because clearly the management do not want to listen and believe they can ignore their paying customers.

Popped in for a breakfast and a coffee and I was greeted by a friendly host who directed me to the dine-in queue. I placed my order for a vegetarian breakfast and an oat latte. The coffee was delivered in no time at all, perhaps 4 minutes, and the breakfast followed within the following 5 minutesExtraordinary food quality, and chefs that know how to cook properly. The vegetarian sausage was not that mock-meat so many places have adopted, rather a combination of veggies in a sort of potato, with a lovely savoury flavour that would rival any sausage, real meat or vegetarian. The hash browns were PERFECT, the egg cooked just right and the baked beans (which I don't normally enjoy on a breakfast) actually had flavour and were not watery in any way.The toast was fresh and warm and crispy, unlike other breakfast chains where toast is treated almost as garnishing. For a new establishment on the Swindon parade, Boswell's is always full - and for good reason. I will be back.Attentive, well mannered staff donning clean uniforms.I highly recommend.

Amazing food, very friendly and polite staff . Lovely warm atmosphere, definitely worth coming in for an amazing all day breakfast and a nice warm cuppa on a cold winter and dreary day in Town centre.

I saw the plans for this new cafe in Boswells in Bristol where I am a regular and made the journey to try it out. Really well laid out with great access and outdoor seating. Really helpful staff and the food was cooked and served with a smile. As per Boswells there is a wide choice of food with veggie options. Highly recommended

Not good, probably one of the worst brunches I have had in Swindon,. I am not sure where they learned to fry eggs but they arrive crusty and chewy, the bacon is also hard and overcooked, service too is very slow. It wouldn’t be so bad if the food was fresh and worth the wait, but it isn’t. First visit to this place in the new location in the town centre and I won’t be going back. I’d recommend going somewhere else. If you want a really nice breakfast or brunch try Dotty’s in Old Town, or Nexus cafe.

I recently visited Boswell cafe and I must say, I was highly impressed with the experience. The food was absolutely amazing, from the mouth-watering appetizers to the delicious main course and the scrumptious desserts. The cafe had a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made it an ideal place to spend some leisure time. What really stood out for me was the ambience of the place. The decor was modern and trendy, yet cozy and comfortable. I could easily see myself enjoying a cup of coffee and good conversation with friends or colleagues at any time of the day.Overall, I highly recommend Boswell cafe to anyone looking for a great place to eat and relax. The combination of delicious food, amazing atmosphere, and excellent service makes for an unforgettable experience.

Agree with previous reviews, saw someone mention on social media today about an issue here with the service and food and I agree. The place has gone downhill since it moved. The venue itself is nicely done (although very chaotic and noisy downstairs), but food is poor. Their all day breakfast has tough bacon, the worst fried eggs I have ever had, the back of them is like they have a sheet of plastic glued to them!!??Their chilli and chips used to be nice, but tried it recently and got about a table spoon of chilli! Really dry and very stingy on the portion.I don’t often leave reviews, but it seems from what I have heard the management do not take customer feedback seriously and don’t seem to care about customer satisfaction.
