My first impression of Stickwick Manor was wow!The accommodation was immaculately clean, welcoming with flowers and chocolate cake...The owners have worked extremely hard to anticipate your every need and have gone beyond to ensure you have a brilliant holiday. There is a very peace filled feeling in the house and in the countryside surrounding it. We left feeling happily relaxed and refreshed.

We had a fantastic stay at Stickwick Farmhouse.A lovely clean, warm and welcoming house.Very comfy beds too.Nothing was too much trouble and the addition of free extras such as stair gates, fire guards, toddles seats and cutlery and even a pushchair to use whilst there was great when travelling with young children.Alison and her family are lovely and often seen pottering around the farm. The children (and adults) really enjoyed feeding the farm animals in the morning, a real hands on experience for them.Great facilities such as a games room, play equipment, larder room, bbqs, pizza ovens etc. There is a toasting shack too but didn’t use this due to the weather but in warmer summer evenings this is definitely a must.Stickwick is in a rural location but only a few miles from towns and beaches so great for exploring Devon.I would highly recommend these cottages for anyone visiting the area.

What a fantastic experience we had at Stickwick, I lived here when I was at Seale Hayne in 1980, bringing my children and grandchildren back was a memorable experience for all 14 of us. Alison made us so welcome and the morning walks around the animals were the highlight for the grandchildren. The house has all you need, the toasting shack is a great idea and we loved having barbecues, pizzas and the firepit in the evenings. The family have updated the houses superbly with everything you want for an enjoyable holiday, I cannot rate the experience high enough and would encourage others to enjoy the magnificent views of the Devon countryside and moorland and stay at Stickwick you will not regret it.

My partner and I recently celebrated our civil partnership at Stickwick Manor - we booked all 3 houses for a week, which enabled us to invite lots of family for a lovely week away together.Everyone was delighted by the accommodation and location. The gardens are a great place to spend time in with games barn and outdoor shack for fireside fun. The views from the front bedrooms are stunning, the farm is very accessible so feeding the animals with Alison and her farmer-dad Richard was great fun. Everything we needed was there, and the houses together suited large numbers and worked really well.Alison was so helpful with the planning of our special week, and was faultless in her approach; so friendly yet professional, and a source of good local knowledge and advice. This is a place you will want to go back to again and again! Thank you so much Alison and family.

We recently had a splendid three night break at Stickwick. The owners were fantastically helpful throughout the booking and stay, and the accommodation fitted our party of 25 friends perfectly. The rooms were of a very high standard and there was plenty to do on site for kids and adults, including a games barn and animal feeding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stickwick for a gathering of family and friends of all ages.

Stickwick is a really wonderful place. Beautiful luxurious rooms, everything you could need, v clean. But more than this the facilities are just fantastic - v v well equipped games barn, outdoor pizza oven/bbq/marshmallow toasting shed, outside space and play equipment for kids - it is perfect for get togethers, catering for up to 24 across three properties, two of which can be linked together. On top of which the owners are so lovely, gently involving the children in farm activities as they wish, including donkey feeding, bunny cuddles and egg collecting.

We had a lovely peaceful time at Stickwick, with our three generational group occupying all of the Manor, farm house and cottage. The property is very clean, beautifully furnished and decorated, and has everything you could need. The hosts are the owners and also run the farm, and are thoughtful and welcoming while also unobtrusive. Alison every morning took the children (and any adults who wanted to come along) around all the animals for feeding, grooming and petting, which was an unmissable highlight of every day! Also lots to see and do in the vicinity, countryside, Dartmoor and the coast. We loved it!

Stayed at the farmhouse for a week with my wife and two young girls. We had a great time. A lovely base to explore the local area. The farmhouse was well equipped and a great space for us. The kids enjoyed feeding the animals most mornings, Alison was great with the kids. Linda, Richard and Alison were great hosts and provided great recommendations for our days out.

We spent a weekend at Stickwick cottage in June 2023 - it is a lovely, well presented home, plenty of space for a family of 3. The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities expected. The pdf guidebook was very useful to have in advance. We didn’t book a supermarket shop to be delivered and would advise doing this as it saves time and money. The farm and outdoor space is brilliant; our son loved visiting the animals each morning and we enjoyed speaking to Alison, Liam and Richard.Highly recommend and we will hopefully return one day!
