Tom has done an excellent job on my decking and in building a new gravel bed for the garden. He works hard in all kinds of weather and produces really good quality wood work. He is precise and thorough with his standards and providing he is given enough cups of tea will work all day long .

Tom did a great job in our bathroom, building a cabinet and some very neat boxing in work. Tom was friendly, professional and tidied up well after the job. I'd fully recommend him. Simon

Tom did some work on a very old staircase, he's done a fantastic job and left the place spotless.Not only a cracking tradesperson, but very trustworthy, reasonably priced and a lovely fella to boot.Very highly recommended.

We had a few joiners come to quote us for the job, one didn't bother coming back to us with a quote, one was a bit alarmist and thought the ceilings would fall in, but Tom was by far the most realistic and reasonable of them all and we knew straight away that he was the one we wanted for the job. He was friendly, personable, professional and someone we knew we wouldn't mind having around our property and leaving alone to get on with the job. He communicated with us very well in the beginning, setting out everything that he would do, how long it would take and what the cost would be, and this was pretty much the same throughout - always keeping us informed and responding to our queries. He was also very flexible and open to suggestions and wiling to change things to suit our needs. He worked incredibly hard, even when the dreaded COVID got him he soldiered on! The quality of his work was outstanding and he turned our building site into a home. Even when he had finished his jobs he came back and made small tweaks to help us to get carpets down, for example. He took down a load of old partition walls in a 17th century house, rebuilt them, and then changed all of the old doors to modern ones (see the pictures!) and the change is unreal, it has made a massive difference and compared to the other quotes we got saved us a few grand on things that we were told we needed by some overly cautious joiners when we obviously didnt! He worked really well with the other tradespeople to try to keep things on track and running smoothly, and even they commented on how much of a nice guy he is. Whilst it's the quality of work and getting the job done that is the most important thing, what you really don't want around your house is someone with no people skills and someone who you are worried about leaving alone in your home. We never had any of that with Tom! We honestly couldn't speak highly enough of Tom. A great joiner and a very friendly person who cares about what he does and the people that he works for. We've never used a joiner before, and thankfully we came across Tom who will now be our joiner of choice. It's true what people say that when you find a good tradesperson you should hold on to them! We highly recommend him and you wont be disappointed.

Tom did a brilliant job of making our kitchen functional adding new internal shelves to the cupboards and putting some lovely rustic shelving up. Not overpriced and very professional. We will have Tom back for any other joinery jobs we have!

We had Tom in to build a shed for us, and erect some fencing. He was very professional, and friendly, and did a fantastic job. We are already creating a list of future jobs, and look forward to having him back.

We have recently had panelling completed by Tom in our living room, we love it!He was very professional, and his work is completed to a high standard.Nothing is too much for him, and he is willing to help bring your ideas to life. We would highly recommend.
