Our mother was here last week and was so impressed with the food and service my brother and I brought her back today to see what all the fuss was about. We all had fish and chips... Quality!!! does not do justice to our whole experience. Be back soon.

Underwhelming and disappointingTable wasn’t ready for our booked time slot. Asked to wait at the bar and was not called back over when the table was ready, we had to ask them.It was busy and our server was as attentive as she could be and checked in with us when she could.The fries tasted like day old McDonalds chips reheated and without salt.Steak was cooked as I liked though.

All you can eat breakky for under a tenner. Usual pastries, muffins and toast and fried fayre. Self service including coffee variants, teas and fruit juice. Always clean and nice relaxed atmosphere. Can't go wrong for a tenner. Would get 5 stars if fried food was a little less greasy.

2nd visit : Excellent hospitality from Lisa J . She kept checking up making sure everything was ok and if I needed anything. Bit upset that had to book on. Asking at the desk she said nothing she could do. Never gave me any options eg. Would you like to book for later or come back in a bit just palmed me off. So I left and booked for 8:15pm. Other than that it was good food was nice. Shame about no cookie dough available 2nd time now month apart.

The restaurant has really friendly and helpful staff, the first night here I arrived quite late (traffic was horrendous! 9 hours on the road), and asked if I could have food boxed for my room. Not a problem! And the staff on breakfast duty were also amazing, and even helped to get a stray dog which was wandering aimlessly outside reunited with it's owner! Really nice and clean, well laid out, highly recommended!

Staff are super friendly and polite. We stayed the weekend and were in and out the restaurant and bar and experienced all the staff as professional and attentive. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Liverpool. The food was okay and what you expect for pub grub and good value for money. Breakfast is a must before the journey and did not disappoint with plenty of choice. I hope the manager is proud of this team.

Had an amazing meal, portion sizes were great couldn't finish what we'd been given, excellent value for money! Staff were warm and welcoming and Cheryl who was looking after us was great, so positive instantly made you feel better, atmosphere was quiet as we'd got there not long after opening time, really cosy place. Only issue I had was when I went to the men's toilet the cubicle was a mess of course I can't really blame the business for this as it was a customer who had left it like that, I couldn't take a star off for that tho as everything else was perfect! Will definitely be returning.

I had an evening meal here as well as breakfast as I was staying in the adjacent hotel. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and couldn’t do enough for you which was great.I had the fish and chips with mushy peas for my evening meal which was lovely, really well cooked and very tasty.The breakfast is a buffet style but all good was tasty and hit, with plenty of choice and the coffee was great. A visit is highly recommended
