You've gone into lockdown.its unacceptable that you do not answer the phone when family ring to ask about their loved ones.Your a disgrace to do this.ive been ringing for days just no answer.Your response to this review is over a year late.I'm not questioning the input of your staff to the work they did during lockdown.your receptionist was on holiday,you were not replacing her but putting onto your care staff to manage the phones and front door also,as you were too tight to cover the reception job correctly.

Always find the staff very helpful and promises of updates/calls back are always full - filled. Dad seems happy and is cared for by staff .

Mum (Shirley) has been in Ventress Hall for almost a year now and she loves it. The staff are amazing to her, and her little cat. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Ventress Hall Darlington is a 'people place' and congratulation to the staff and managers for providing such dedicated and committed service. Safety and wellbeing is a priority and has created a settled and happy environment. Our sister was in the ventress for three years till she passed in February this year she was on nursing which we would say was amazing the care you could not fault in any way from the nurses carers cleaners and Judy and every one in the home really make it a home from home and would highly recommend it to any one !!!
