Mega expensive to dry your clothes.. Ended up using Bideford launderette which is much more cost effective despite the drive

On holiday so called to find out about a service wash. Was told that they do not do service washes for families!!! When we explained that we're on holiday he quizzed us as to whether we were travellers Apparently they're not welcome in these parts.

Just rang to ask how much it costs per load. He replied exasperently 'I don't know!', and continued to tell me that all launderettes are different and to go in myself and have a look.Obviously I'm aware prices vary from launderette to launderette, hence asking how much yours costs.Weird conversation, unhelpful man.

I personally know the gentleman who owns the laundromat, he is in his 80s and was sent home on the 23rd March because of his age he was one of the most vulnerable to get the Covid Virus, so he arranged for all calls to be put through to a call centre, that covers all the launderettes in Devon, they do not know how much each Launderette charges. Mr greening is of the old school and if you have good manners he will help you, ie I am sorry to bother you

Clean and tidy! A bit expensive but that’s not the issue. The issue is that a wash and dry takes up to 1.5 hours and the laundromat closes at 18:00 when most of the people use their services finish from work at 17:00! So inconvenient! Even the one in Newport closes at 9pm!

I was really pleased with the service. I had 4 big duvets to launder and I found the owner very friendly and helpful. Easy, quick and in town so I could do some shopping whilst the machines did their work!

Avoid, avoid, avoid. On holiday in the area & thought we would use a local launderette & support local businesses whilst shopping locally. Was met with a very unfriendly reception by a man claiming to be the owner. I run a business and would never dream if treating customers in such a manner. Such a very rude & unpleasant man and I'm so glad my husband would never dream of speaking to a lady in that manner...maybe he thought we were travellers as others have mentioned above. Vacated premises as quickly as possible. Would have given no stars if possible.

Waste of time and money. Both the bloke who answers the phone when the machines break, and the bloke he sends out are completely useless.

Extremely costly. £1 to dry for 5 minutes. It was recently 10 minutes. regular customers notice the price has suddenly doubled!! This is a rip-off The next closest launderette is Newport in Barnstaple, 1 mile towards Rock Park £1 for 10 minutes. Bideford Launderette is better. value for money and their machines accept 20p for 2-3 minutes. £1 for 15 minutes. £5 for a wash.
