I don't ever leave reviews but...It's horrible. I had a fringe put in, one part is down to my eye lid, there is a chunk just off centre that is WAY above my eyebrow followed by a part that's in-between. I have layers on one side that are above the ear but not on the other. I ended up going to a different salon to try and fix it. They did their best but some parts are so short they advised the only thing I can really do is wait for it to grow out. I am taking biotin to try and hurry growth up cause it's so wonky, I never go outside without it in a pony tail now. It looks bad and I feel ugly. Maybe I just got unlucky and didn't get the stylist the positive reviews are about

I took my daughter (age 8) for a stylish haircut as a treat, the hairdresser was lovely with my daughter and she cut her hair very well, my daughter left the salon very happy and felt very pampered.

Would give more stars if I could! Staff are lovely, space is super cosy and welcoming, and the service they give (had piercings and tattoo so far) is flawless. 100000/10 would recommend, defo one of my favourite places within lincoln!!!

Amazing salon with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Shannon is fantastic, and I always feel great and love the results every time she does my hair. 100% recommended, I can't ever imagine going elsewhere since discovering The Collective.

Shannon is an excellent hair dresser.I love my hair and how she does it. I suffer with anxiety so having my hair done isnt my fav thing to do, but i feel fine with her. Also not pushy about having things done.

Tottie and Shannon are first class hair stylists. Their creativity and flair is second to none. I myself have been a client of Tottie’s for over seven years and have had many new styles and different colours in that time all of which I have had many envious compliments. My hair is always well looked after and advice on after care to maintain the condition and colour are always offered. In short I always feel I am in safe hands here and I shall be their client for many years to come. Can not recommend highly enough!!!

Used The Collective for a balayage the other day. Half of my hair has a huge chunk of blonde all the way up to the top - not blended like a balayage should be. Not to mention that the other side. has considerably less blonde put in. The blonde also has not been blended/gradient up in places it abruptly stops. The front blonde strips were not done naturally either. The hairdresser was a really lovely lady, but this just isnt good and its really disappointing as I’m a student and getting my hair done is an extreme rarity and a very expensive treat. I now have to pay to get it fixed elsewhere as-well. Feel bad leaving a bad review but its not fair that someone else may have to pay lots of money to be let down. Their other services look good, just not the balayage in my experience.
