This place is a joke, misdiagnosed me with something I don't have and dragged my paperwork for like 2 months, still dragging. Keep making mistakes! They asked me to come in to collect my paperwork but sent me home right away, said they couldn't find my paperwork and come again tomorrow. Can't do anything when the secretary is not in. This place needs to be investigated! They all said ‘Zero tolerance for verbal abuse’ but you guys keep bouncing me through there and here. You guys made people to be this mad!Poor management, paperwork not organised at all, and no communication between the staff. Don't know what happens when other are not at work.

This surgery was great when it first opened but the past few years it’s been awful. There’s always problems with prescriptions, you can never get an appt or get results. 2mths I tried to get an appt for a meniscus tear and ended up having to go into town to GP plus. I can’t get a medication review with a GP. You call in the morning at 8:30 when all appts are released, you’re on hold for at least 20kg a to be told there’s no appts and try tomorrow.

General Medical Council need to look at this practice .Am messaged to book a review for my repeat prescription. I ring to book a review. I am told no appointments available for reviews. Exactly how then am I supposed to receive the important medication. I have needed for the last 8 years?

Honestly I never complain about them and usually just do what o need to do. But I put a prescription on for my babies milk last week and they hadn't done it! The lady said she doesn't know why. My Inhalers weren't done either... Two separate prescriptions just ignored. Absolutely terrible especially when it comes to a little baby.

What a terrible place. Staff in the reception are often rude. In addition they have no problem at all with lying. The doctor was unable to measure my son's height properly saying that everything was fine. He was wrong by the whole 10 cm (4 inches). That is a lot for an adult so for a child it is a huge difference. When his mistake was pointed out he still said that everything was fine. He literally said that BMI 19 and 27 are almost the same"."

Shockingly poor service, the left hand does not know what the right hand in the practice is doing when you do eventually see a GP get told they are locum and cannot do anything more. Have been consistently lied to regarding scan results told the results have not arrived and when I speak to the thrid pary company am told the results have been sent mutliple times, no accountability. When you then challenge the staff at reception for answers bearing in mind my partner is in serious pain and discomfort and has been for months are then told you are being verbally abusive to the reception staff.Would not reconsider if you are looking to join the surgery as it appears to be going downhill rapidly and when you want to speak to the practice manager always get told they are away and not in despite the GP saying during the appointment that the practice manager is in.Happy to discss my issues in person with the practice manager of the surgery if you want to reach out to me.

saw a locum today for my 4 year old who had had severe ear pain radiating down his face along with a sore throat. he used his PHONE light to look inside his ear and told me it was fine. when i expressed this was not good enough he then used a lamp! he tried to tell me the phone light and lamp can see all the way down his ear canal! when i expressed my concern he then went to look for the proper equipment and again told me it was fine. which now i do not trust. this is appalling. i will be skipping my complaint to the practice manager as these get completely ignored and will be making a complaint straight to the CQC as this is negligent.

Staff are always polite and helpful.Only thing I don't like is when the receptionist ask you why you need an appointment everybody and anybody can hear you also.Bit unfair as you could be asking for an appointment for something you are embarrassed about.Where is the privacy and confidentiality?

Third time our doctor appointment has been cancelled. My advice is to drag yourself to the place and ask for the appointment in the city centre but I believe it's not an option for elderly and suffering patients so I also suggest to stay healthy or maybe change your GP...

I really didn’t want to do a review, I’ve deleted a few, but I’m really not happy with the staff at the medical centre, they have impacted both my mental and physical health, if you email them about anything it takes them weeks and even months to get back to you.I’ll start from November 2021 although I’ve had issues with the medical centre since I joined back in 2015.In November I saw one of the new GP’s, Dr Kedge, I thought she was lovely, understanding and I felt she was listening, however, I felt like she didn’t understand mental health problems to a degree, but she tried anyway and she had never heard of a CPA or Rethink. During the appointment she said she would try and loan a ECG monitor so I could go to the medical centre rather than the hospital and said she would also refer me for something else. All seemed good.Later on in November, I asked for a supporting letter which I paid for, the first one wasn’t even accurate, didn’t have correct diagnoses or the information I’d asked, for, I then emailed the medical centre and let them know I wasn’t happy and why I wasn’t, it was then passed onto the GP, 2 weeks later another letter was done, this was a tad better but it still wasn’t accurate but at this point I’d given up bothering because it was making me feel quite ill.In December the same GP sent me an email explaining about the letter so I explained the second one wasn’t accurate and why, it’s been almost 2 months since I responded to her, I’ve heard nothing back.In the same email she asked me to call cardiology, there were 3 problems with what she requested, firstly the day she asked me to call, it was closed due to bank holiday, in fact, it was closed for 2 days, secondly, she never told me it was an appointment I’d need to go the hospital for, she never asked if I’d be ok to travel to the hospital, nothing, it would take me almost an hour there and the same back via bus, I don’t have a car, she knows I’m agoraphobic and struggle to leave my home, I haven’t been on public transport for several years and I have no intention of doing so now as an unvaccinated agoraphobic who has fibromyalgia. I would have liked to have been asked first. Then to top it off, when the lady on the appointment line went to check my referral, there wasn’t even one there, she checked twice. I was advised to speak to the GP but honestly, I don’t have the energy and dealing with the medical centre in general causes me a lot of anxiety. Also, I tried to email the medical centre to ask about a medication that SALT had requested, instead of checking if they had received the request from SALT, they passed it onto the GP?? There was no need to do that, if they had checked themselves they would have seen the medication was issued on the same day that it was requested, it took me almost 2 weeks to get the medication partly due to this, I ended up having to call which gave me an anxiety attack. There is no point me emailing the medical centre as I’ve still not had a response 2 months later to one of my other emails and I don’t have the confidence or trust in the staff at GFMC to help me properly. I’d love to be able to ask for help with my health problems but they’ve made it difficult for me to do so.I've again had issues with requesting medication, I asked for an alternative as one of mine had been discontinued, they reissued the same one but with a different name.. Called the medical centre 3 days ago but it's still not been sorted out by the looks of it! Also booking appointments on my behalf without my consent, they know full well that I'm agoraphobic.Update - 17/11/23 - The practice manager did get in touch, information was sent to her, heard nothing since, my advocate tried to contact her to see if she still needed to speak to her, she's had zero response, communications with this practice are very difficult as they rarely respond to you.14/12/23 - Practice manager has gone quiet yet again, no response to her email, advocate tried calling but they claim that's she's either out or in a meeting, it's ridiculous.
