M&S Simply Food

Not all food available in Café, but still very nice.

I'm giving 2 stars because I left marks today feeling really annoyed and disappointed. The cashier that was serving was rude and very unhelpful. Never in all my days have I ever met a member of staff that isn't lovely and really willing to help. I know we all have an off day from time to time but today when she rolled her eyes at my husband, who was being polite and cheery as always, it quite upset me.My husband didn't know where to scan the marks card and instead of showing him in a nice manner she said quite sharply in front of my hand" neither of us understood what she meant because she was holding her hand over the machine. Quite confusing really. When we realised my husband said "oh sorry I didn't realise" she rolled her eyes as if we were stupid and couldn't even smile at us. Sorry to all the lovely staff at marks who go over and above

Don't buy outdoor reared 6 pork sausages the skins are tough and chewey.

A somewhat smaller than average M&S, that has a bakery, it sells fresh flowers and a selection of wines and alcohol and a small selection of fresh fruit and veg but no clothes.It does have toilets and a cafe.

It's an M&S over priced for the same food as anywhere else, but at least its always clean.

Typical M&S quality.. But.. Yes but the cafe is so so cold. They keep the temperature down in the store to keep the food fresher longer at the expense of the cafe users who sit around with their coats on.

Always a pleasure to visit this store. Variety and availability of stock is always excellent . Customer service is always very important , and the staff are extremely helpful and courteous ..... particularly Nina who goes 'above and beyond ' to be helpful and friendly . Well done Nina , keep up the good work , you are amazing .

Good location, great for click and collect.Cafe is painfully slow, 15 minutes in a queue of 3 people this morning, dreadful, I started worrying my toastie would pass its use by date it was so slow

Apparently we are for coffee and cake, bought my friends with me. The cake looks like some of it is missing.Yet another visit.

Delightful staff working hard in Customers Service on a very busy Christmas Eve. Thank you for keeping my bank card safe, your manners and smiles are priceless!.
