Cardiff Arms Bistro
Good choice, if you’re working away from home or if you want a weekend in Treorchy.Nice atmosphere in the pub downstairs. Chippy over the road and a shop 2 mins walk away. Greggs vouchers are a nice touch if you want to get something early for work.

Firstly thank you to the member of staff who took us to our room , a fantastic lady .The rooms are very well equipped and up to date, spotlessly clean and all facilities great.Sadly thought our room was directly over the bar and outside area and was so noisy.We had a long journey to get here and could have done with getting to sleep before 11.30 pm and woke up at 5am due to traffic rattling past outside.The room was as requested two single beds which when laying down felt like there were two metal bars in the mattress and very uncomfortable .The pubs position by the main road can't be helped but perhaps a quieter room could have been nicer.Please note due to the age of the building it is not suitable for those with limited mobility or wheelchair users.Over all great place to stay , but just too noisy for a good night's sleep .

Stayed for one night and ate in the restaurant, which was very accommodating of a vegan diet. Staff were all lovely, the room was amazing with modern / rustic decor, the bed was one of the best I've had in a hotel and the bathroom was excellent. Amazing value for money, we'll be back for a longer stay in the new year

Table was booked...food was fab...went for the small plates and had the tandoori chicken, halloumi fries and fish goujons...everything was delicious!! Then sat in the outdoor seating at the front of the restaurant!!!was a beautiful day and was very busy!Went again in December...Great service and great food(fish n' chips...Yorkshire pudding wraps)....Still think pints are a little steep for Treorchy!!

Nice pub, but food is very basic and way way overpriced.I paid £16 something for a burger and a cup of chips,scratchings!It was worth no more than £6.Very poor value for money. If you are going to charge top prices, serve top notch food.I have had better food at Rhondda kebab and pizza and a lot cheaper. In factI can cook better food in my kitchen or on my bbq.Had a better burger and chips in witherspoons with a pint for under £10.Treorchy needs a witherspoons good food and drinks at very reasonable prices. I wont be eating at the cardiff arms again, its a RIP OFF!Red house wine was horrible, drink it at your peril! Bar Staff were helpful and polite.

Service from staff was top notch. Friendly smiley faces. Food was good too. Loving the décor also (Comic Strip wallpaper) We visited Penderyn Distillery and this was great choice for food on our way back. Tiny Rebel on tap is a huge bonus.

Came from Bristol for a baby shower with my boyfriend, beautiful hotel, great value for money and lovely staff - They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room came with all the amenities you needed and more! If we’re ever in the area again I would defiantly return.

Absolutely lovely Hotel and nicely situated to go out and about. The rooms are really clean an tidy with everything you would need for a stay and the staff are very friendly an ask if you need anything when ever you see one of them. The pub it's attached to is very friendly an welcoming, even the locals say hello and have a friendly chat with you. Would definitely stay here again with out a doubt.

My fourth visit to the Cardiff Arms. This is an independent venue working really hard to stand out from the crowd. They are friendly and determined to get things right. Each time I've stayed (solo) I've felt well looked after, and if there is ever any 'issue' then it is solved straight away. Recommendations from knowledgable staff re what to order from the menu are wet worth listening to.There will always be little niggles in any venue, and what I would say here is 100% just ask and it will be sorted. Well done all.
