Batman Dental Practice

Very unsatisfied. I had several fillings that needed to be done and went in for an emergency appointment on Monday, 1st dentist I saw merely gave me a customary check up and refused to do any treatment- reason given was because further appointments I could come in for would only be on Saturdays, and it was a different dentist who would be doing the treatments. He worked out a treatment plan for me and gave me some antibiotics for an infected tooth. Fair enough. I had an off day on Tuesday as well for a different appointment, and so had time in the late afternoon to come in for one appointment with the 2nd dentist, Mandla. Got a call at 1pm saying the dentist refused to see me. The reason being that since I came in the day before (Monday) and could come in that day (Tuesday), he assumed I could take off days from work whenever I liked and should therefore stick with the first dentist for treatment. So he cancelled my appointment for that day and asked that I schedule further appointments with the first dentist.I asked the receptionist to clarify the situation with both dentists: I could only come in for appointments on weekends after this week, as I did not have any more off days. I called back today (Friday), and was told that the Mandla still refused to see me, and that I could still schedule appointments for Mondays/Thursdays with the first dentist if I liked. Dr Mandla behaved in a very illogical and unprofessional manner, in my opinion, wouldn't even speak to me directly on the phone. This whole week was pretty much a waste of time, where I took half a day off Monday and paid for an emergency appointment but had no treatment done and my entire treatment plan derailed for one dentist's whimsy. I am very unsatisfied and will be filing a formal complaint. The receptionist was very polite and pleasant, and I understand that the decision did not come from her/first dentist, but I am honestly shocked at the lack of professionalism of Dr Mandla who refuses to give any consideration to his patients.

MY son tooth had broken off went to appointment and was told had to have a temperature test explain we are happy to have the test but not in my penal gland. I went on to explain that the elbow bad wrist is sufficant. They staed thats there rules and they can aee my son other wise. Looks like all parties receptionist dentist and assist needs to go on training

This is my local dentist. It's very humble, no flashy shop front window claiming to correct your smile, give you an expensive over night/ equivalent to eight hours plus in the chair, dental makeover that will dazzle others into parting with their money too. It's normal friendly patient receptionists behind a plain white(?) door - will take a photo - with a small waiting room complete with happy fish tank ( they don't have dental issues ! ). There are two treatment rooms but I've only ever been in one. The dentist's themselves are a great advertisement for their work with blindly white well matched even teeth but they don't judge you for what nature or neglect has made you seek help. They're very gentle, give clear advice, pass you free items like toothpaste, brushes, etc and in my case made me a splendid false upper molar to replace a sadly missed chopper. I'm a nervous patient who grips the chair as though lm going down with the Titanic so l can safely say their chairside manner is excellent. Surrender yourself to their professionalism without regret. Oh and don't worry too much about the bill, you can arrange a pay plan do you won't be giving anyone the keys to your house or selling off your record collection to pay for your new gnashers.

Very Very unprofessional i advise no one to go there the reception lady is very rude, the rest of the staff are not bothered about how they threat the patience, poor poor dentist do not go there

Staff are very welcome, friendly and helpful. and don't get messed around very happy

Friendly sevice

My boyfriend lost a front tooth at lunch time. The very helpful staff kindly managed to squeeze him in at 3.15pm that same day. They fixed him up very quickly. It was such a relief. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I would 100% recommend this place. The doctor was caring and friendly as well. Two thumbs up!
