We have been to this fish and chip place many times whilst holidaying in Swanage over the years. Today we came back again for pasty, chips and a nugget and chip box.The chap at the counter was very friendly and asked us if we were wanting service whilst we were outside and deciding what we wanted.Once we had decided and been served we were given a ticket and then called to the counter. Salt and vinegar is on the tables outside and we managed to get a table to eat at.The portion sizes were good and the food was hot. The staff were also friendly. This is a lovely place to eat.

A fantastic serving of fish and chips. Great flake and flavour from the fish, crispy and fluffy chips. Would return!

Great fish and chips! Ordered a Large fish and chips because I was hungry.....WOW......HUGE fish, biggest I've ever seen, very tasty too!Picnic bench seating in the ideal spot, right next to the beach. Well recommended.

Wright on the Beach
Visied Swanage today and had a take away lunch from Wright on the Beach. The chips were excellent, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle and not greasy at all. The scampi and sausage were cooked beautifully. The service was friendly and efficient. Thank you. Recommended.

Really don't recommend, portion sizes are minuscule - considering it isn't cheap. Total rip off, the chips we tastless. Can almost guarantee these were bought in frozen chips. Sausage was awful too. £12 odd quid for 2 handfuls of tastless chips and 2 awful sausages. In this day, honestly. Shame on you!

very good! batter was insanely crispy and nice. service fast and good value. chap was a bit grumpy but he did have a lot of customers to serve on his own at the time to be fair!
