The White Hart Hotel
Interesting old building with spacious pleasant room. V good breakfasts but very disappointing dinner. Would prefer the toiletries to be less single-use-plastic heavy and the jam and butter not to be individually wrapped.

Great dog friendly stop off . Room 1 amazingly comfortable and superb water pressure. Breakfast was included in our rate it was lovely. WiFi worked even though a village location. All staff friendly and professional. We had supper too and Frank ( our dog ) was welcome to sit under the table. Food was good. Wine prices very reasonable. We will be back on our next trip to Cornwall .

Only went in for a drink at the bar but was a little chaotic. Simple orders needed repeating on a number of occasions and was told we’d have to wait 10 minutes to order a pint at the bar whilst they did a till handover. Service not great and you are not a priority there.

The White Hart Hotel
This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was fabulous, it was a Superior Room for a special occasion and it didn't disappoint. Dogs are allowed and there is no extra charge for them to stay. The hotel is in a perfect location to go off exploring on Dartmoor. Fabulous.

Relaxing lunch in this beautiful 17th century coaching inn in one of Dartmoor’s ‘gateway’ towns. Lively public bar, comfortable lounge and dining room and an outdoor courtyard. Great service, generous portions of food and, overall, an enjoyable experience that guarantees a return visit.

The White Hart Hotel
An exceptionally high standard of service, genuine and warm hospitality especially from Jase who was so welcoming that we returned on subsequent occasions throughout our holiday. Good food, cosy atmosphere and great service, including for our kids and dog who were equally well catered for. We don’t often leave reviews, but this was such a positive experience. We had food and drinks but would love to return for a stay next time we are in the area.

Very pretty aesthetics, just what you would expect from this old posting inn in the countryside. Staff really friendly and helpful, the room was really satisfactory for the price, and the warm breakfast included in the price tasty.(vegan/vegetarian option on the menu). The restaurant and pub are also very nice. We would definitely book again! The location just in the centre of Mortonhampstead is ideal for planning hikes or bicycle tours

The White Hart Hotel
A lovely warm welcome and a very spacious room. Right in the centre of Moretonhampstead so easy walking around the town. A really friendly little hotel and we will certainly be back.
