Surprised about this place inside a hardware shop. It has a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. They have a good selection of meals and breakfast options. The food was nice.

Easy parking and an extensive range of household and diy items, too much to list. Shop is spotless with well laid out and organised displays.Very helpful staff.

Useful place to go, you can get lost anything you might need!

Good place to go if you need anything they have most things DIY and household items so when in Portree or on the Isle of Skye and you forget anything I think this is the best place to go go as it's more likely to have have the items you may need

Great service from David at JansTech, Apple were wanting to charge £400+ to do a job that cost less than 1/7th in Portre, dropped my iPad Pro off at 9am and collected it before 3 on the same day, the Apple care place in Inverness would let even take the job on, so if you do need something done to a tablet or phone, take it to Portree and it will repaired locally at a time that suits you, not a 7 day wait and a bank loan to finance it.About time Skye had a place where you can get repairs done.I asked David at Jans Tech for a quote on Friday, grabbed that repair with both hands, Jans Tech took two days to source the part and the repair was done on the Wednesday and it was service with a smile, well done David, you will be my port of call for any more repairs and with kids and grand kids with iPhones and iPads, I could well become a repeat customerWillie B

Excellent service , snapped clutch lever on motorbike , with some hardware from Jans and a couple of holes drilled by their very helpful mechanic we were up and running (A-team) style and able to head back to Aberdeen

I bought 2 largish trough shaped seed planters and noticed that although there were outlets for water at the bottom these would need to be drilled through....I mentioned this to Calum in the office and he got it sorted for me...so very helpful thank you.
