the best dive to jive in, a venue that has a reputation for fighting and fornicating.

Long gone are the days when Plymouth was infamous for it's nightclubs. No longer does the city attract top DJ'S and huge crowds.Jesters is one of only a handful of independent clubs and has been in business for a very long time. The club itself generally attracts very drunk people.Drinks are not too expensive.. The club itself is average, holding on to year's gone by.

OMG technology today I was just going down memory lane to find a club/bar i used to work at as a dj in 1989/90 called norma jeans /monroes and i was struggling to find a ref point and then i seen jesters which must be the old mr sweets that faced us ..i pan the cam around and there i see the old place where i used to work ..hard to imagine the fun and games that went on then..great times /great memories ..my name is Ged Foley Ime the one blacked up working with dj delboy and also in other photos in the middle with my white jacket on flanked by B.J. and Frank ,and Im also in the middle with the barstaff. Rodger was the manager (in the tux) and there s picky of kevin (the pub singer) doing Mr Cockergram

Not that good unless you are 16. Good security and bar staff though.

We had a fantastic night in Jesters, everyone really friendly. If you are old school you will love it. Actually I can't see anyone not loving it, great fun night. Only warning is to use the cloakroom, do not leave coats unattended.

Plymouth's longest standing independent mainstream commercial club. Pertaining to a legacy for the many specific locals as the club of all clubs. Great atmosphere, lighting bars and music. Visually stunning and creative colourful decor identifies Jesters loudly and clear!
