Having a look through the window at man's butchers. Lots of lovely meat. Lots of deals. Lots of Christmas deals ,. It's tidy , well Sit out, staff are lovely always willing to help. Lots of knowledge about meats. Even explain how to cook it for the best results. It's one of the cheapest butchers around , lovely meat and a lot more. X

Went. Today £12.95 6 sirloin could not get my teeth in it . Very tuff and it were slimey and wet .and 3 bags mince .you don't see it till you get home .made up in back of shop.not proper beef sirloin. You would pick up better and half the price at ardleigh market on a Sunday. Won't be going again drove all the way from manningtree

Bought their steak offer - Fillet, Ribeye, Sirloin and Rump, £99 for over 8kg meat and 20 quarter pounder burgers for £5.99. Filled the freezer up for a while!

Love being able to order all my Christmas meat in advance with Manns, they are so helpful and convenient, makes it much easier for me! Tried the bbq offers this summer and didn’t disappoint, really good value when everywhere else is getting so expensive.

I have been buying all my meat at Manns for a few years now, quality is always excellent and the price is really affordable. The service from thw team is excellent and the best bit for me is that so much is offered gluten free! As a coeliac it is really hard to find a butcher who provides so much gluten free without having to pay extra!

Was recommended to this place by a family member and i certainly was not disappointed. Bought 2kg chicken thighs and they were delicious, 30 sausages for £5.99, 5kg chicken breasts and also rib eye steaks and all was fantastic. Highly recommended!

My husband went to purchase six fresh chicken breasts and was told it would be better to buy 2kg. The butcher then went out the back to get them he said they were a bit chilled but reassured my husband they weren't frozen. When he got home I opened the bag and the chicken was full of ice crystals and some were solid and others were semi frozen. The next day I cooked them for a nice family meal, unfortunately we were very disappointed as the chicken was very tough and not pleasent to eat. I private messaged on the Facebook page and had a response to give them a call. I was passing the butcher's the next day and popped in to explain my disappointment on the chicken we had bought. The manager assured me the chicken wasn't frozen but was at the back of a cold chiller so they would be a bit cold andiced and the response was that he was very sorry to hear that it was tough but I have been the only person to complain so that was it. Well thankyou Mann's butcher what great customer service you give my one and only experience you don't even deserve the OneStar

Meat is better quality than supermarkets however the past 3 times I have been they have cut me short on the weight of chicken breast. Ordering 2kg and then weighing it in to be 1650g. Must be a way to make more profit? Won’t be returning.

Got a tomahawk steak from here and tasted fantastic on the bbq also bought 10kg chicken breast and mince unbelievable value for money will definitely return
