This care home is looking after my Auntie and they cannot do more for her.Regular contact with family and we can call whenever we want too!Management on hand to answer any concerns or problems and nurses around the clock.Carers show genuine care and compassion.Thank you

Would not put an animal in this place .never answer the door when you get there kept waiting for at least 10 minutes very under staffed and complaints not dealt with .manager is never around always seems to be upstairs in meetings. I have my father in this place and I don't believe he is getting the care he needs I have tried numerous times to complain but keep getting fobbed off .we never get to go in his room and he has always got someone else s clothes on .this place should be closed down in my opinion due t. When you ring up to book appointments the messages never get passed on an a few times when I get there they have no knowledge that I have booked in a very poor show indeed.o things not being done

I work for Ashgate house . I am a maintenance technician. I've been with the home since February. I am glad to say the home is getting more love and affection and respect to the residents that we all care about. We are all a team that goes all out to do our best.

We visited Ashgate House today to see a very dear friend who is a resident. We was very impressed with the reception we received and how friendly and professional the staff were. The place was very clean and well maintained. Thank you for your kindness and caring for our very special friend May.

Ashgate house is a home away from home for our residents. What makes it special is the show of love, compassion, friendship and respect from staffs and management to our service users. I am glad to work with such a great team acing all the challenges that comes with the job.

Great place to work and hone your nursing skills and knowledge. The management always handles each employees concerns efficiently and appropriately. They help us improve and acquire more learning through various trainings that will help us be effective healthcare providers.From the higher management, to the nursing department, senior carers, care assistants, and kitchen staffs , they all worked hand in hand to provide a care that is person-centered and maintain the well-being of each of our residents.

I have been brought in as part of the senior management team. I have been working at Ashgate for 2 months. There are a lot of positive changes happening within the home. The care team including nurses, ancillary staff, are all fantastic. With the right leadership and direction and support of management they are striving to make a positive difference to people lives.

Worked on bank shift as part of clinical team. The permanent staff are like family to me. Everyone is working very hard and doing their best for the residents. Some residents may be challenging to care due to their conditions and complex needs but I can see that the staff and management are doing its best to provide them optimal care and attention.
