Everyone at Miles Barr has been so helpful during the whole process, from the initial viewing, explaining the fees, finding a buyer during some very financially challenging times, to finding local contractors to clear the property and to carry out a repair. Thank you all so much.

I was sadly disappointed early this week with Miles and Barr when trying to book a viewing on a property. I was informed that I would need to speak with their Financial Advisor; as affordability needed to be checked before any viewing. I explained that I am purchasing with funds from the sale of a current property. No, I would still need to speak with the Financial Advisor and that due to Coronavirus affordability needed to be checked. I explained I have my own advisor who has helped me over the years should I decided to use a small mortgage; based on the fact that borrowing is currently cheap. The forthcoming silent response was unhelpful and it was clear that there would be no viewing until I booked an appointment with the advisor.The Advisor called and was helpful enough to advice that they have a range of financial products. I then re contacted the agent and a viewing was booked.In order not to waste time I always take a drive by before viewing as my main criteria is location. I called and decided to cancel the viewing; I was informed that a viewing had not been booked!I would suggest that Miles and Barr revisit their core product offering, which is selling properties and arranging viewings.

Everyone at Miles and Barr were fantastic, they were proactive and kept me regularly updated throughout the whole process, I always felt valued and trusted them to ensure everything was completed correctly. All staff were always on the same page, there was never a breakdown of communication between the staff and any other parties.

Both the sales team and sales progressor were fantastic. Managed every aspect for me, helped go above and beyond in securing a sale and getting the transaction through.Would not hesitate to recommend them.Communication has been excellent.

From start to finish we were kept well informed on the whole process, which was very reassuring and kept us sane in what can be a stressful time.! Scott kept us up to date through the negotiations, and Katie ensured the sale progressed well.

From the start of the process of buying our new home the staff that i have been in communication with have been very helpful. From Ryan Maudlin who did our viewing, handled the process of us making an offer on the property, having it accepted and explained what we should expect to happen next.We then worked with Debbie Mead as our Sales Progressor who kept us regularly updated and answered alot of our questions throughout the process right up until exchange of contracts and confirmation of a completion date. Helping to ease the stress that comes with buying a house. I would recommend and will use Miles & Barr again in the future.

Miles and Barr made the whole process quick and easy from start to finish. The property was listed with ease and sold very quickly by the team. Our sales progressor was amazing and keeping everyone in the loop and fitting around necessary schedules. She was always welcoming and friendly and makes what could be a very stressful experience much easier through her understanding and guidance of the process.

I'm really happy with the whole process buying my first flat with Miles & Barr. They guided me throughout, and I found all the staff members I encountered really helpful and supportive. I visited and had viewings with several property agents in the Thanet area, and I have to say I felt the most confident with this agent. And the final lovely touch was a little welcome bag of goodies to take to my new home :)

Debbie has been a massive help throughout the property purchase process, always working tirelessly to ensure that I had the most up to date information on how things were going, and chasing up things as and when needed.Purchasing a property as a first time buyer can often seem daunting, but with the guidance Debbie provided I knew that things were being taken care of in the best way possible.

Customer facing employees will be the ones that shape any opinion of a company and Debbie Mead is one that stands out. She was diligent and went the extra mile on more than one occasion during this difficult sale which lasted nearly 7 months from offer to completion.
