After losing my father a few months ago, we used the services of George Hill. Upon the more recent death of my Aunt, I had no hesitation at all about returning to them. They dealt with both occasions with the utmost respect and care, keeping in contact at all times. Katie is wonderful at what she does, and I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough.

Katie and her colleagues were exceptional with their care and compassion when dealing with my late father, they displayed upmost respect and dignity from the start.No requests that were made from the family were a problem, Katie even visited the family home for a group chat to make arrangements as some family members were unable to attend and were joining through live chat. They displayed really good communication throughout. I would highly recommend George Hill Funeral Directors. Very professional service.

They were so professional from start to finish making the process for us so easy at such a difficult and challenging time. The service provided by Katie was brilliant, from moving dad into the Chapel of rest as soon as possible to laying him to rest, she was so calm and supportive to us. A wonderful woman who is great at what she does , thank you Katie for everything ❤️ xx

I have recently used George Hill Funeral Directors after the passing of my Dad. Katie was the Funeral Director for what has been a challenging few weeks. Katie was extremely professional and was very understanding and compassionate throughout and her level of service provided was exceptional. On the day of the funeral Katie, the funeral bearers and drivers were also fantastic and really helped us get through what was a very challenging day. 5 stars is an accurate rating and I cant thank them enough from the whole family.Many regards, Chris

George Hill funeral directors are very professional and were very helpful throughout even through some tricky challenges because of our circumstances. Katie came across as a very competent but very caring funeral director. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to get you through one of the hardest things you will ever have to do.

From first speaking to Katie about the plans for our son's funeral, we knew that we would have nothing to worry about. Every email or phone call was attended to promptly, allowing us to know that things were in place. We had asked those attending to wear Adidas trainers as this was a brand our son loved to wear and it was a nice touch to see Katie and her team wear their own Adidas trainers on the day in tribute. It's the little things that go a long way.We had never had to plan a funeral before but Katie was caring, professional and listened to all our requests for the things we wanted on the day, delivering exactly the kind of funeral we had planned for our son. George was only 18 and wasn't religious, so we opted for a non-religious ceremony. This was conducted by an independent funeral celebrant recommended by Katie, called Andy Powell who delivered a heartfelt ceremony which was praised for its warmth by many of those who attended or watched online .The whole process had a very personal touch, from beginning to end, and we would have no hesitation in recommending Katie and George Hill Funeral Directors to any friends and family.
