New Day Coffee - Ashton House
Rating this as 5 stars so it hopefully will get seen. Went in to get a latte on the monday and was excited to try a new place as it looked cute from the outside, i went to the counter to not be greeted at all but to be stared at like i was a complete inconvenience. The girl (short, dark hair with many tattoos and piercings) was very rude and come across very passive aggressive when serving me which made me feel awkward. She seemed to be very angry at everything, throwing things around whilst making my latte which gave me an impression that i had disturbed her in some sort of way. i get people go through bad days but i don't think anyone deserved the customer service i received that day. Overall the coffee was lovely but the girl serving me seemed to not want to be there, hopefully next time will be better.

Really lovely/friendly staff at tills and wonderful place to work remote. I usually come here to take my meetings and buy breakfast everytime I come! Loyalty card system is great!

My daughter loved her Caesar salad and little overnight oats pot (she has eclectic tastes). I had a lovely mozzarella and basil wrap. All fresh and tasty. Lovely staff. Highly recommended.

It is important for employees to make customers feel welcomed.No initial greeting or response to saying thank you upon collecting the coffee. No eye contact, at all.Generally blunt attitude is common in daily life, I get that, but when you’re representing a brand interacting, smile or at least a “you’re welcome, have a nice day :)” goes a long way.Standing behind a counter for a set wage isn’t fun, but the businesses brand is resting fully on how staff interact with customers.In terms of product, yeah, it’s just coffee. £3.20 is a bit steep but I understand paying for employees & rent isn’t cheap.I write this review not as a complaint (obviously, nothing out of order happened) but as some constructive feedback :)

Staff were lovely and welcoming, I ordered a hot chocolate, when I say it was one of the best hot chocolates I’ve had it really was. Definitely will be returning again. I’d like to personally thank Charlie for the amazing customer service.

The barista here is incredible, shes so friendly and makes the best coffee i have ever eaten. And ive tried ALOT of coffee... Ive gone global with my coffee tasting and she just created arguably the best ive ever had.

Nice cafe not far from CMK and so much better than the chains in there. Great place to relax with excellent coffee.Place was clean and service excellent. No issues that others had mentioned.Peri peri chicken panini was ok...but wasn't spicy enough. Espresso was excellent and water available near the tables.Comfy seats, tables, and booths available.Shame it doesn't open weekends.
