Note even a 1* service. Really disappointed with the service. I made two viewings on Saturday with Liz. She sent no confirmation email confirming the bookings, so I contacted them on Friday and spoke to a guy who checked the system and found that nothing was booked for me. He apologised and kindly rebooked and sent through the confirmation. On Saturday Liz called me and left a VM to say that she is cancelling the bookings. Very unreliable estate agents, not serious and this is a total waste of time for anyone who is a serious buyer!!! I will not be using them again.

An absolutely brilliant and hands on estate agency. All of the staff we dealt with were very professional in all aspects when we sold our house through them last year. They will go above and beyond for their clients. I'd definitely recommend and have recommended Readings to people I know who either wanted to sell or put their property on let.

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!After 9 weeks Readings failed to sell my property yet another agency sold it within the first week of listing - 20k over the same asking price!The Readings agent that was actually responsible for selling the property only attended one open day.Photos were extremely poor/unprofessional and did not represent the property to its highest potential.No floor plan listed despite requesting this on a number of occasions.After week 4, Readings insisted I reduce the asking price even though Readings and 2 other estate agents told me what I would be able to achieve for the property and I am still struggling to understand why they would ask this at week 4 of a 12 week contract!!!The issue I am most distraught about and feel should be shared is the fact that whilst my property was being marketed by Readings, sentimental gold (which was not on display) went missing. I was promised anyone viewing the property would be accompanied by the agent at all times - clearly this did not happen or it was the agent themselves! Very upsetting & concerning!! DO NOT LEAVE READINGS AGENTS ALONE IN YOUR PROPERTY!!When I raised a complaint with the owner of the business, he lacked empathy & told me that I was “overthinking”.The overall service is beyond poor and so much time has been wasted thanks to this unprofessional agency.Good luck to anyone who chooses to list with Readings - cheap is not always best!!

We cannot thank Liz enough for her assistance and always keeping us informed!! From the start I could tell her approach was different to other agents having the unpleasant experience of having 2 deals which have fallen through before we found Liz. Thanks to her always being on top of everything and there for us we managed to complete within a little more than a month which was just unbelievable!

Liz at Readings couldn't have been more helpful when selling my late Parents house. She kept us fully informed at all times and ensured that we achieved a good outcome, and took a lot of the stress out of the procedure. It was a pleasure to do business with her. Used Readings for my recent house purchase. Excellent service. It was a pleasure to work with Liz. She was really helpful throughout the whole process. Great communication; she was always available when needed, very quick responses at any time of day. All in all it was a great experience and I can tell you that they are very good !

Readings Lettings Division - Mark Kleister has been an absolute star all the way through the lettings process. His attention to detail, attentiveness and responsiveness has been exemplary. I could not fault the service he has provided from before the property was let, through the letting process, signing of the lease agreement etc., and the after sales service,that he and the Readings Lettings team have provided, after they successfully moved in the new tenant. Special mention also goes to Lea. She has been very honest and upfront with the potential tenants and her advice was correct upon choosing the right tenant for us. I would not hesitate to go back to Readings Property Services again if and when I need to let my property. Well done to Mark, Lea and the team and many thanks for your invaluable help.

Start to finish an excellent service from Readings. Everything was easy, stress free, communication excellent and very competitive rates too. This is the 5th time either I or another member of my family have used Readings - we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Special thanks to Liz!

My dad used Readings when he purchased his property 20years ago and again when selling his house 2 months ago. I must say it was a great experience both times around. They adopt a 'get the job done' approach, which was a major positive for us, you could always reach a member of the team on the phone and they were super responsive via email as well. Their communication was brilliant and that helped to make the whole process run smoothly. Liz, James, Lee and the team are professional and it was clear they have a wealth of experience and knowledge within their field. As a family run business we felt looked after and valued as a client throughout the whole process. We even got a lovely call after the move to see how my dad was settling into his new home :-) I would recommend Readings in a heartbeat!

Really disappointed with there service. I made a viewing on Saturday. Called today to confirm the booking lady who I spoke to confirm the booking for today. Went to view the property I called the lady who confirmed my booking except for answering my call she message me saying call the office. So I call the office guy informed me the property has been sold. Know that has wasted a journey for me I had to leave early from work. What I expected was they could of atleast called to inform me that the property has been sold or atleast drop a message. So unprofessional. Reading state agent should know how tough it is for people to get time out from work to view a property specially in these cost of living times. Very very disappointed
