Paul Govers Photography

We honestly don't know where to start. Paul captured our day on 20/10/22 and he went above and beyond to make our day perfect. From capturing family photos, to fixing my dress and veil, he made sure our day was stress free and relaxed.He was incredible from start to finish and our day would not have been the same without him. Paul was so friendly with all of our guests and family.We received our preview the day after our wedding and we couldn't stop looking at them. They are honestly perfect.We cannot recommend Paul enough, you won't be disappointed.Lots of love, Mr and Mrs Javed x

Where do we start?Paul is so much more than a photographer.From the first call we had with him in the build up to the wedding, we knew we were in good hands. His attention to detail even then was outstanding and he really put us at ease by the way he took the time to explain everything in great detail with us.On the day, he was just amazing and truly went above and beyond in every aspect. Every minute of the day was used well, from grooms pictures before the ceremony, bride and bridesmaids pictures getting ready and everything else in between. I don’t think Paul sat down for a solid 12 hours or so, he was constantly on the move and capturing every moment he could.He was always available to help with my dress and veil, to fix ties, and he just made sure everyone looked their absolute best for every picture. Not to mention the fact that he managed to get every single photo we requested, despite both having very big families and 200 guests!Now that we have received our photos, we could not be happier with them. We both can’t wait to get working on making our special album and sharing all our pictures with our friends and family. He was been an absolute joy to work with and we can’t thank him enough for everything and for making our day so special, fun and enjoyable.

Paul… what a man… what a man, what a man, what a mighty mighty good man!Thank god we got Paul on board to capture our amazing wedding day for us. From start to finish we have been blown away by the service we got. Not only were the preview photos we got back (before our wedding had finished) absolutely perfect, Paul also went the extra mile by helping myself and the best men get ready on the day. He provided a sewing kit to help repair my wife’s dress that burst, always carrying her vail and even provided me with hair gel mid photos. My wife’s wedding car broke down and she had to use a taxi to arrive. Paul flagged the taxis as they arrived and drove us to the venue in his personal car to keep things glam. Having our baby with us on the day had it’s challenges however Paul even got my wife some food as she had her hands full. This is only to name a handful of the things Paul done for us on the day, the list is never ending!! We can’t thank you enough Paul for everything you done for us on our day.. unbelievable service! Highly highly recommend!! Paul’s prices do not reflect the work he endures. You do not only pay for a photographer, you get a coordinator, guest entertainer, party starter, nerve calmer and a friend.Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.Love, The Ogilvies x

We had the pleasure of having Paul as our wedding photographer just under a month ago. This review would have been a lot sooner had I not been in our little wedding bliss bubble, a bubble which Paul helped to create, as our wedding day was just so perfect and he played such a huge part in making it so. It truly felt like he was our unofficial second wedding planner and maid of honour / best man.I had read the reviews prior to our wedding day, where people are singing his praises, which made us feel reassured we had chosen the right person, but I cannot stress enough how none of the reviews truly prepared me for just how amazing of a person and photographer Paul is (which is saying a lot as the reviews are all incredibly positive). He made us both feel so comfortable and relaxed in his presence. He couldn’t do enough for us, from making sure we had a drink, helping me with my veil, helping my husband tie a bow tie, carrying around my fluffy slippers for me to change into in between shots & carrying around numbing spray for my feet, he was truly like superman doing it all while taking amazing pictures of course. He was so kind and patient with my 6 year old brother, even letting him be his ‘helper’ and take a few pictures himself!We had a preview of 60 increadble photos before midnight. To me it was the perfect way to end the day, as I did not have my phone the entire time - so it was great to have some pictures to look at.His kindness and warm friendly energy was noticed and complemented on by every single one of our guests. I read a previous review which really sums up our views on having Paul present on your wedding day - if he’s available on your wedding day BOOK HIM and if he’s not available … move your wedding date!Thanks again Paul for everything you did for us on our special day.

Paul - where do I start? You honestly made me feel so relaxed as soon as you arrived on the wedding morning and answered any of the questions that were spinning around in my head. I was feeling super nervous but you instantly made me feel at ease. Your knowledge and expertise around weddings are second to none. From helping with jewellery, putting on my shoes, giving me shoe stoppers (when my biggest fear was walking in my heels) to ensuring my veil was securely in throughout the day. Nothing is a problem to you.Then onto your skills as a photographer…. The preview has blew us away and we couldn’t be happier with the results so far. We can’t wait to receive all the photos and get to relive the most perfect day all over again.Special mention to how good you were with Jessica, the photos you captured of her we will treasure forever. She loved being the centre of attention and you made sure she was occupied when needed.We are so glad we choose you to capture our day and would recommended you to anyone who wants a professional, fun and amazing photographer. First things first, if you’ve not booked Paul to capture your wedding day… book him! If he’s booked on your wedding date, my best piece of advice is to re-arrange to get a date he is free! Paul is really the most amazing photographer. When searching for a photographer we both loved his style of photos and no one else compared for us. After the first call we had with him it confirmed things for us, we 100% knew we had made the right choice. We felt like friends by the end of the call! When he arrived on the day, he joined straight into the conversation and make us all feel at ease. He literally was like my 6th bridesmaid! Anything we needed, Paul had. When getting my dress on there was a tiny part of my overskirt needing stitched and Paul was on hand with a needle and thread ready to go.Just after our meal Paul done his famous photo dash - what a laugh!!! This was so much fun and our guests got right into it - it was like a competition to see who could get the funniest photo! This got everyone up after the meal and having fun. We also have a photo with all our guests. We can’t wait to see them all! Thanks so much for this Paul, it really got the party started.We heard so many lovely compliments on his style and presence on the day, he is just a true gent.The following day we got some preview pictures and we were blown away! Paul has a real talent and knows what to capture on your special day. We cannot wait to see the rest of our pictures!Thank you so much for capturing our day Paul. Well.., what’s not to LOVE about Paul.We booked Paul for our wedding which was eight weeks ago. I have never met someone so organised in all my life. Paul went above and beyond for us on the day - helping the guys get their kilts on, picking up our dresses for us literally a thousand times, even taking the mums hats from them and sitting them aside so they wouldn’t get bashed. He really is one of a kind!!Paul’s brother was also there as a second shooter for us and he was absolutely wonderful too, again making us all feel so at ease and relaxed.Paul blended right in without crazy families - some of our guests didn’t even realise he was there half the time. He worked wonderfully alongside our videographer Mikey - they were so in sync and made both brides and all of our bridal party feel so at ease and relaxed.Paul said he would be giving us a few photos - we didn’t expect as many as he sent, and the quality of his work is just outstanding. We can’t praise this man enough for everything he done for us on our big day ❤️

Wow! So many amazing things to say about Paul, he is so engaging the moment you meet him. He made every single person at our wedding comfortable and everyone LOVED him! Our photos came back AMAZING and we genuinely couldn’t be happier with them, Paul helped with everything on the day my hair, veil and calming down my husband before the ceremony! He is just an amazing person/photography all round. Best decision we made was book him for our Wedding day.
