Alev Dry Cleaners

Alev Dry Cleaners managed to get rid of 2 week old bike oil stains on one of my most favourite beige trousers! My clothes came back ironed and completely free of any smell, I couldn't even smell any cleaning detergent residue. They are super friendly and a lovely local business. Would recommend <3 !!!

Brought in a pair of new trousers and a corset to be taken in and altered. The lady in the store completely butchered my corset and the trousers are now too tight to wear. AVOID.

I had a great experience, very friendly. Had a pair of trousers altered and they now fit and are usable! The other I had made a hole in some designer trousers and you can’t even see it anymore.

I took in my brand new puffer jacket with some small stains on and after going back twice the jacket is still dirty and it now has holes in it. The staff have been incredibly rude and dishonest. They were having a go at me for rushing them when I left it there 6 days in total. When I asked for my money back they had a go at me and told me never to go back. Stay away!

My wife had two coats dry cleaned here. One of them came back and had shrunk and the other hadn’t been cleaned properly. Worst of all they stank of cigarettes which is no surprise - when you walk in the shop you can tell the lady that owns it is smoking inside. Not ideal for a shop fall of clothes!When asking for my money back she denied it even though I could clearly smell it. She said my wife must have seen her smoke outside which she didn’t. She said she would dry clean them again but my wife didn’t want to risk them getting damaged further.Anyway we didn’t get any money back, just two smelly coats, one of which is now ruined. Shame as we chose this place to support small, local businesses.

First time I had clothes cleaned there they absolutely nailed it. First class service. It didn't last. This week they have stained a pair of good trousers, and left dark marks on a white shirt. They're nice people yet I doubt they'll replace the trousers considering the cost and how dry cleaners often shirk responsibility. Won't be using them again, alas.

Asked for some simple alterations (shortening a couple t-shirts and shortening some jeans) but when I received my clothes back the stitching was out of line and not straight, my jeans are damaged beyond repair. I asked if they could fix what they had done but when I got the clothes back they were no better (if not worse) I asked for a full refund and the owner was very rude telling me I was in the wrong.Do not use the alterations service from Alev's if you want straight/neat stitching

I used to use their services for ironing my clothes, recently I had my fashion Jeans patched for only a few pounds and they did a remarkable job. I like their craftsmanship and polite behaviour as a local shop

The opening hours for this place are wrong on google and every time I go to get stuff done the shop is closed. Getting a bit annoying !

TERRIBLE. My favourite winter coat has just come back with the faux fur trim around the hood all burned/melted. Clearly it was put in the tumble drier?! This is not somewhere you should take your clothes to be laundered.
